## What is Quiet Tempo?

Find the tempo in your head. Hear it back as a steady beat.

Quiet Tempo is a focused metronome for songwriters and practicing musicians. Tap a pulse to estimate its BPM, adjust it if needed, then press Start.

TAP, SET, PLAY
• Tap tempo: more taps refine the estimate.
• Set a tempo from 30 to 240 BPM with direct entry, buttons, or a slider.
• Choose 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/8, or 7/8.
• Turn the first-beat accent on or off.
• Follow numbered beat indicators as you play.
• Keep the click going when your screen locks.
• Return to your last tempo, time signature, and accent setting.

A CLEAR COUNT
One tap equals one click. BPM counts quarter-note clicks in /4 and eighth-note clicks in /8. Changing tempo or meter restarts the bar.
