Please add NIV NLT and ESV. The app is pretty much unusable to me (and I'm sure otehrs) in this current state because even if I do use it I need to go to blue letter bible to look at NIV or NLT to make sure I'm correctly understanding the kjv on the app. So it defeats the purpose of an un-interupted bible source. Hard to search. *2021-03-03, version 1.2.1* Downloaded for first time today (March 3, 2021). This is my favorite Bible app in approach, purpose, appearance and simplicity. Search function yields zero results when searching for book, chapter and/or verse. For example, type in “Proverbs 1,” “Proverbs 1:1,” “Proverbs 1-1” or anything similar, and it will not take you to the beginning of Proverbs. Type in “Proverbs,” and the search function yields 8 verses that contain the word “proverbs” in the text, (only 3 of which are actually in the book of Proverbs). If the search function is fixed, and especially if I can not only get to the search function by typing cmd F but also have my cursor active in the search field (so I never have to take my hands off the keys), this becomes an app that I not only will rate five stars but would also easily pay $10 for. Thank you to the developer for all the work that you have put into this app (which IS free) so far. ### 5/5 — KJV *2025-01-24, version 1.4.1* Thanks! ### 5/5 — Really good Bible app *2024-01-17, version 1.4.1* I have only had this for ten minutes and I really like it. Its simple, clean, and focused. I do not mind only having the one translation because I understand the developer not wanting to pay for license for other transaltions. I do have some complaints. There should be a way in the settings to make the text bigger. And while I understand wanting to maintain the clean and focused aesthetic, I think including other things like a side-navigation scrollbar to help find other books would be helpful. Other than the font size and minor navigation issues, this app is great and I would definitely recommend it. What I found most discouraging about all of the other apps, is that they have adds, subscriptions, or other context added into its layout. This is not the case with this app. It’s just the words of God, clean and simple. I especially love that you can switch easily between reading and studying.
