## What is QuietTap?

QuietTap is a haptic metronome for your wrist. It delivers a steady, rhythmic pulse at a pace you choose — giving your nervous system something constant to hold onto when everything else feels uncertain.

A steady haptic pulse gives your body something to lock onto, naturally slowing your breath and heart rate. Unlike audio tools, QuietTap works silently through touch — on your wrist or in your hand, wherever you are. Quick start presets for Calm, Focus, Energise and Sleep let you start with one tap. After your session, see how your heart rate changed over time.

No sound. No notifications. Just rhythm.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-04-13

New in version 1.3: iPhone home screen 'big red button' widget, Apple Watch complication, and long-press quick action — all start a 55 BPM session in one tap. Added a manual screen dim button during sessions. Improved breathing guide with a 4-phase cycle in paid features. Fixed heart rate not showing in post-session summary.

### 1.2 — 2026-04-10

Version 1.2

Cross-device sessions — you can now start a session on your Apple Watch directly from the iPhone app, and start one on your iPhone from your Watch. Set your BPM, duration, and feel on either device, then send it to the other with one tap. If your Watch app isn't open yet, the command queues and starts automatically as soon as you open it.

Watch session history on iPhone — sessions completed on Apple Watch now appear in your iPhone session history alongside iPhone sessions, giving you a single unified view of all your activity with full heart rate data.

Breathing guide (Unlocked users) — the running screen now shows a slow expanding and contracting visual cue with a gentle "Breathe in / Breathe out" prompt, moving in a 4-second rhythm to help you pace your breath alongside the pulse.

Softer start (Unlocked users) — sessions fade in gradually over the first few seconds rather than beginning at full intensity.

Preset descriptions (Unlocked users) — each quick start preset now shows what it's designed for, making it easier to pick the right pace in the moment.

### 1.1 — 2026-04-08

Minor bug fixes. Change to issue with colour of background on iPhone.

### 1.0 — 2026-04-08

No release notes.
