## What is Quillby?

Every scorekeeper app knows a hundred games. None of them knows yours.

Not the house rule your family added in 1997. Not the three-round variant
you play at the cabin. Not the thing you and your roommate invented last
Tuesday that doesn't have a name yet.

So Quillby doesn't try. It doesn't know the rules of any game, and it will
never tell you who won based on rules it made up. You decide what gets
counted and what decides the winner. It keeps the numbers exactly as you
enter them and adds them up.

Build a scoresheet in about a minute. Name the game, say what gets scored —
one number, or several things tracked separately — and pick which number
decides it. Not sure? A few questions will walk you through it, or start
from a common setup and change what you like.

Score however the game actually works. Whole numbers, decimals, times, or a
simple tally you tap up and down. Add rounds as you play or keep one running
total. When a score is really four numbers added together, type the
arithmetic and Quillby keeps the working — so next week you can still see
where 47 came from.

Play with the same people every week, or with whoever turned up. Groups
remember your regulars. Guests handle the friend visiting for one night, and
become a real player later if they keep showing up.

Nothing changes quietly. Correct a score after the game and the change is
saved with a reason, next to the original — so anyone at the table can see
what changed and why.

Then look back. Win rates, best runs, who you play with most, how a game has
gone over a year. All of it from the plays you actually recorded.

Your data stays on your device. Always. Nothing is collected, nothing is
transmitted, nothing is sold. Export everything any time: a backup file you
can import again, plus spreadsheet files you can open anywhere.

Six themes come along for the ride, named after the birds whose plumage they
borrow. Pick one and the whole app follows.

Quillby is free, with room for three games. That's enough for most tables.
When you want more, one purchase — Unlimited Games — removes the limit
forever. No subscription, no trial, no recurring anything. Games you've
already made keep working either way, and your history is always yours to
export, purchased or not.
