## What is Quilty Solid?

A Quilty Solid provides a reference for quilting solids colors. It includes representations of solids from multiple manufacturers including Art Gallery, Kaufman Kona, Aurifil thread, and more. The tools include a color reference list with sortable swatches, color detail with harmony interactions, a Pantone color matcher that provides color matching against Pantone colors, a palette building and randomizer tool, and a swatch matcher against an uploaded photo. Help for each tool is provided on an additional screen. User settings can control which solids lines are included in the app.

### 2/5 — Not saving my palettes.

I want to love this app, but it is not saving my palettes. The interface is not exactly the easiest to create palettes. I wish you could create and choose colors all from one screen, but after working through it and making several yesterday they are gone today. And the ones I just made are gone after reopening! Gah! Also, small thing, but put an x to clear the search bar instead of having to backspace.

Tool is great until I try to save. Palettes appear saved but are gone when I reopen the app. Rebooting the app and the phone are inconsequential.  I found it helpful in the past that but now it’s just a frustrating time-waster. Seems the app designer has abandoned this project.

App won’t work. I’d go to different pages and then I’m stuck there. Can’t go back or home or anywhere else. I’ve rebooted my phone, I’ve re-downloaded the app, same problem. Such a shame. It could be an exceptionally helpful app otherwise.

Thanks Steph for making this app so I can get the hex codes for all lines of solid fabrics. I’m not a great quilt designer (I’m using Microsoft paint lol!) but the hex codes have been invaluable. Thank you!

I love this app for designing palettes. The palette from photo function seems to be missing any way to add to a palette or save colors. The plus sign turns into a check mark but then nothing happens.

This is such a great App for me. I would love it to sync across my devices though so that I can work on my iPad whilst referencing my iPhone. Better still, would be great if I could import my palettes into PS. I have no idea how things work though, very grateful for this app that makes designing even more fun. Thank you

Had high hopes based on reviews and a a friends’ recommendation. Once a selection is made from the main menu, the back arrow and Home button are not operational so I have to quit the app and go back in to get to the main menu. Redownloaded and reinstalled 3x, updated my iOS to no avail…

Ok so this app is fantastic. I don’t know how I haven’t found out about it before but I love love love it. So easy to use. The color matching is unparalleled and it’s ability to choose which fabric brand too for the solids matching ?!?  How perfect is that.
