I love seeing my hair twins’ journeys also and seeing what products they use. There is an issue where if I try to go to my notifications, the app shuts down, which is frustrating. Hopefully this is resolved soon! ### 4/5 — Good but bug? *2021-04-02* So far I’ve been really enjoying this app, I especially like the picture preview on the calendar! Although recently when I try to add an entry, it loads the pop up for a second then it all goes blank and I have to restart the app. Not sure what’s going on, but I hope it gets fixed soon. The calendar view is very sleek and makes me easily browse through my entries ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — I think this app has been abandoned. *2022-09-14* Users can no longer upload images, which makes the app unusable. This is a long-standing issue since two others mentioned it back in early June on the inactive Discord the app gives access to and there was no response and this very important feature is still broken. ### 2/5 — Photos will not load *2022-06-29* I cannot get photos to load and it’s been close to 2 weeks. They try to load, but it just shows the semi circle with an arrow at the end - like a refresh icon. If I hit Next, a message pops up that says media is loading. And then nothing ever happens. I’ve rebooted, I’ve signed out of the app, etc. I don’t want to delete the app and reinstall because I’m afraid I’ll lose all my journal entries. ### 3/5 — Decent for learning, can’t post *2022-08-06* There’s definitely a bug with being able to upload photos and post. I really didn’t want to leave this as review but I can’t find a spot for help in the app. It’s difficult to get a picture of how my hair looks in the front because the crops is so narrow. I know it’s to fit in the calendar but why not make wider calendar slots? Many people’s pics have awkward angles and a lot of head space because of the tall narrow crop. This of us with a big face can’t hardly get our hairstyle in, but you can see the entire design in a t-shirt- doesn’t make sense. Crops should fit hair not shirts! Also, how on earth do you see multiple pictures? It appears that you can press tabs on the top, but nope. Just one picture a day is easily viewable. I was able to flip to the 2nd pic once but I have no idea how I did that and no matter what I try I can’t do it again. Please include an faq or help center. **Developer response:** Hey there! Now I can’t. Why was this changed? I am not pleased with the change. **Developer response:** Hey there! You can still add pictures from your gallery by clicking on the bottom left button in the Photos screen. The aspect ratio changed which we are correcting in the next update - which should be live this week! However I am having major difficulties with getting the app to run properly! I put in one entry but only having to go back to it multiple times because it would suddenly go to the news feed on its own! When I tried to do a second entry it did the same thing, I tried again and the app closed on its own! However at the end of May my pictures stopped uploading preventing me from being able to post anything. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, turned my phone off and back on and Checked for updates to software. Everyone with hair from barely wavy to tightest coils are on the app, while supporting and commenting suggestions where it’s wanted. You’re able to track your hair progress, the products you use on specific days, while adding photos; and you can see other’s progress as well. You can label your hair of different types, porosity, density, thickness, and what your specific goals are. Great app! **Developer response:** Thank you so much! I love how it lets you set the date, not forcing you to start at your current point. I put my earliest image, which was from December, on my calendar! Unfortunately, there is an issue when making a post. When I try to click a place, to fix a typo or something, it does not let me click that place. Instead it places me at a random space near the bottom. So you have to work up, line-from-line, until you reach the area you wish to edit. If you write long notes, like me, this can be frustrating. The way it automatically selects the entire thing also plays a role in this issue, as you have to select another word in order to get rid of the select all. I’ve also accidentally deleted captions multiple times because of this. I also find that autocorrect does not work well within the app. But that may just be because I generally use a DE keyboard and the app changed it to English. This change causes me to make so many typos, maybe autocorrect has given up on me. I’m known by my friends for being unable to type anyways. You can change it of course, I’m just lazy. 😂 This app is brand new, so I was not expecting it to be absolutely perfect. Even still, I love it and recommend it! For some reason when I click on the calendar section it’s blank and the screen freezes.
