It makes saving SO much easier! I can set my own savings rules once and don’t have to think about putting extra money aside every day/week/month for important purchases - hyve does it for me automatically! The best part is how easy it is to get support from others. My parents are currently rounding up their purchases to my savings account, which might not sound like a lot, but it has been a game changer to know that I’m no longer “alone” in my savings and to have people I trust help me reach my goals. My friends and I are planning a vacation together next year, and we will definitely be using hyve to save for that trip together. It’s super simple to set up an account and get saving, and to see what your friends’ savings goals are as well. The basic concept is similar to money-share apps - connect your checking, send money to contacts through the app - but Hyve pays you interest on the money you put into your goals, and incentivizes you to start putting money toward that thing you always wanted to buy, trip you always wanted to take, etc. I particularly like the ability to “round up” for friends, where you can give them the change up to the next dollar on purchases you make. It’s a super cool and fun way to save money for my goals, and help my friends save for their goals, too! The app is easy to figure out and I set up two vacation funds in seconds. I love being able to have recurring rules about when to deposit money—no way of forgetting! The public feed is a cool way to see what other people are saving for. And it’s easy to deposit money into their accounts to help them reach their goals. I really like the look and vibe the app gives- its very aesthetically pleasing! Over all i really like this app and will still continue using it! I like how it collects my info into one place! One cool addition would be to give investment tips- like good places or things to invest in based on the money we can invest! just would be interested in that! I like how it gives tips to how much money we should have on hand for 911 funds and how much is needed to save for college funds- Very helpful!
