### 5/5 — AWESOME!

*2023-07-30*

When my mom got this app at first I thought it was going to be so boring and not helpful but the next day as I looked more into it I saw that u do chores to get real money and there is a family board for who is in the lead with most chores done right now my siblings are last because of course I’m so responsible 💅✨. There’s also a game that you can play to earn gems and buy cool things in the app you can save or spend there are hundreds of gift cards to put ur money in like for example target beauty and spa Amazon just dufferent kinds of toys there’s so much I really recommend this app if you have. A big family with hygiene problems I have 5 siblings and they might actually be getting better with there hygiene so I really recommend this app!

### 4/5 — No Black Avatar

*2023-07-27*

It’s great but I do wish they would include avatars that are not just White. Like all children, my daughter wants to see characters she can relate to and that look like her.

### 5/5 — Great unique chore app

*2022-11-12*

We have really enjoyed using the app. My son looks forward to checking off his items every evening. I like how you can create exactly the thing you want done. I don’t just use this for chores but for behavior incentive and school behavior as well. We saw a change in the negative behavior quickly. I added two “bonus” options for my son. It can be anything that makes us happy or when he does something extra when asked. He will do almost anything for “double bonus”.

My son is learning the value of a dollar through this app. I added 10 items to his Amazon wish list. He asked why I made them so expensive. I explained that is how much it costs. Now when he wants an item at the store I ask if he has money. We can quickly check the app to see his balance. While at the register I can enter a custom amount for exactly what the item costs. He clicks the button and makes the decision to use his money. He now really thinks about what he wants to spend HIS money on.

I paid for the upgrade option once I saw how interested he was in the app. He is 7. My 14 year old hasn’t shown as much interest. But she also doesn’t get money like he does because she chooses not to do the chores and items listed.

I also like how you add a priority level to each item and it assigns a dollar value to the items per your specified amount per day.

Finally the developer has been fantastic making changes per a few suggestions I made. That is probably the most impressive thing about this app.

I highly recommend this app as an independent reviewer not associated with this app. I’m just a parent who happened to try this app and have been impressed. I used a different one in the past and really like this one.

### 3/5 — had good reviews, but not sure

*2022-07-15*

we really like the gaming aspect and how the kids can select their own rewards from different linked vendors. however, not sure how well developed/supported this app is.

i tried logging in through a web browser to see if there was more functionality for parents than through the app (see below for desired functionality), but the web browser does not seem to take my app login and vice versa...not sure why, so i think i now have two accounts...the app on my phone is premium.

i cannot figure out a way to adjust chore values; some chores my kids perform are mandatory requirements (must be done to earn anything), while some are different values for each chore-currently the app has set values for "easy", "medium", and "hard" chores. for example, completion of an "easy" chore adds $0.32 to the reward bucket...we'd like individual chores to have a set value instead of "easy", "medium", or "hard".

i hope support can help me figure this all out. if so, i'll be happy to adjust my rating to a 5. if not, i will change it to a 1 and recommend parents stay away from this app.

### 5/5 — Best Out of 4

*2022-06-17*

I’ve tried 4 chore apps so far over the last couple weeks and this one is by far the best. It’s Gamified chore and goal setting done right. My 9 year old son approves!

The only thing holding me back from purchasing premium is not allowing parents to retroactively check chores off for past dates. My child can check items from the previous day, but we can’t go back further. Unfortunately we started using another chore app before we tried this one and my son doesn’t want to lose the progress he has made since last week. So, we will have to wait for next month to start fresh.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review and feedback! We can definitely add your suggested feature of retroactively checking off chores, and release the update within the coming week. If you have any other suggestions to make the app perfect for you and your family, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at hello@quirlapp.com. :)

### 3/5 — Constantly signs my child out

*2022-06-17*

The overall concept and app itself is fantastic. However, it’s almost useless because it doesn’t keep my child logged in. Every time he opens it to check off chores or start his chores, he has to come to me to get him logged back in. This is such a hassle and something I wish would get resolved so he could use it when he wants

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We would be happy to help you resolve this error as soon as possible.

As a first step, please ensure that your app is updated to the latest version (1.2.4). Then, if you continuing experiencing the issue, please contact us at hello@quirlapp.com.

### 5/5 — Great for chore tracking and rewards/allowance

*2022-05-19*

We were using another chore/allowance app that announced it was going to stop working in the US in a few months so we took the opportunity to look for something more engaging for our kid. I looked at another cool-looking game-ish app...that was more than 4x the cost of Quirl. So we tried this for free for a few days and that was all it took to see our kid was much more motivated to do their chores with this app than anything we've ever used before. We paid for the year within 2 days of downloading it. I encountered a small bug for the first time today, so I emailed the developer (email address is on the app website), and got an answer within 30 minutes. Everything was fixed within an hour or two. Amazing!

### 5/5 — Amazing ap for the whole family!

*2022-04-05*

This ap has been amazing for our family! Has really motivated my son to do his chores! It makes everything super fun for him, especially since he’s motivated by time on the iPad. It’s easy to navigate for both the parent and child.

### 5/5 — This is so cool

*2022-03-28*

I love it so much
