## What is Quishield?

Scan first. Open only if it is safe.

Quishield inspects every QR code on your device and warns you before a malicious link can hurt you. QR phishing ("quishing") is one of the fastest growing scams: fake parking meters, restaurant menus, invoices and delivery notices that lead to credential theft pages.

How it works:
- Point the camera at any QR code
- Quishield analyzes the link locally: lookalike domains, punycode tricks, hidden redirects in the address, IP based links, URL shorteners, suspicious top level domains and lure wording
- You see a clear verdict with the reasons, and the real destination spelled out, before anything opens
- Opening or copying a risky link always asks for confirmation first

Private by architecture, not by promise:
- 100% offline. Quishield has no server and never uploads your scans
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking
- Scan history stays on your device and can be cleared at any time

Quishield cannot guarantee that a link is safe; it shows you the warning signs a careful human would look for, instantly, so you can decide with open eyes.
