### 1/5 — Has potential

I liked the idea of shooting a 2D or 3D target, but the current version only lets you shoot an Apple and then it kind of tells you how far from the center it is. There are no internals and in the description it says “this is just a demonstration of technology” or something like that. All the info on their website and in the photos on this page are very misleading.
I’m excited for the version that shows you what internals you hit, but this current version isn’t worth the time.

**Developer response:** Hey JoeyBravo- I’m glad you were able to decipher that the app which you were using was simply a demonstration version. Our first full release is available now- we hope you like it!

### 2/5 — Good in theory

I bought a delta McKenzie big daddy buck target for Labor Day. I’ve gotten out to shoot it a few times now and while the app is a great idea it needs work. Once you shoot the target, open the app and scan the QR it shows the X-ray, but it isn’t always placed correctly in the target and floats around when you move your phone, including moving the X-ray completely out of the target.

Another problem I have with the app is the vitals are like stickers that are placed over your cameras image, which means it hides your arrows so you can’t see where you’re shot really is while using the different layers.

A 3rd thing I noticed that just may be me not using the app as intended is that there’s no photo or video options. Thinking it would be cool to show off on social media, I attempted to scan the app, use the iPhone screen record function, walk away from the target with the phone attached to my bow to record the shot and be able to see where I hit from a distance. It did scale the vitals down to match the target but walking back to the target they were misplaced more than when you shoot first then scan the qr.

**Developer response:** Hello BPollitz- thanks for using QuivAR and appreciate your feedback.

We may be able to help resolve some of these issues If you shoot us a DM or email to info@quivar.app…happy to look into it. The anatomy floating around is not normal/common.

Yes the anatomy does cover up your native arrow- although not ideal, there are a few ways to properly view shot placement and this is outlined on our FAQ website page.

We have a technology that is not yet publicly available that highlights your arrow…stay tuned. This upcoming release will work just fine with your current series of target.

Per sharing - there is a button (share button) within the QuivAR view which allows you to easily & quickly capture a screen shot and share it via any common native Apple share options.

Of course we are just starting out and have lots to learn so we will take all this to heart and keep moving the bar forward!

Stay tuned as we have some fun and engaging releases up our sleeves!

### 3/5 — Almost amazing!

*2026-08-05*

Super cool idea and I love the work that has gone into this project. However there are two main things I don’t like.

1. Subscription service: After paying a few hundred dollars for the target I’m a little disappointed the app has a subscription service in order to get unlimited arrow scans which is probably the best part of the app. I would be a lot happier with this if they also had an option for a 1 time purchase lifetime pass even if it was more expensive than a yearly subscription.

2. The tap to scan chip: This chip is in a really bad spot in my opinion. Why would you put it on the front facing side rather than on the back or on top of the animal where it is less likely to be shot. They are willing to replace these however so I can’t be too upset.

Everything else is pretty awesome and is definitely better than just another boring old foam target.

### 5/5 — BEST ARCHERY APP OF ALL TIME

*2026-08-06*

Love this app. It has help me immensely. Paired with my Deadnuts Target I understand the exact anatomy of all the animals I pursue each fall. The biggest update is the competition feature. I can set up a competition and shoot with my friends all across the country, everything is tracked on the app. Must have for serious hunters.

### 5/5 — Great for skill building

*2026-06-20*

It’s actually a pretty good app. I just started shooting, and it’s so much easier to track my progress with stats about literally every shot I take.

### 5/5 — Buck Slayer

*2026-06-15*

I have been Bow hunting for 45 years. Most bad hits I have seen and personally experienced was because a lack of vital knowledge. Books and diagrams only help so much. This tool is revolutionary and irreplaceable. The fact that I can see every vital from every angle is the tool I take into the tree stand. I can visualize every angle for every shot and practice with the same knowledge.

I really appreciate this product and the obvious passion for Archery from the people behind creating this amazing app.

### 5/5 — Best archery trainer

*2026-06-15*

Every shot feels like a ‘first shot’ when you slow down and analyze the efficacy of each one. I love being able to shoot Real-time 3D competitions with friends in different places. It has sparked my eagerness to shoot and train!

**Developer response:** That which cannot be measured- cannot be improved! Thanks for enjoying and diving in.

### 5/5 — The Future of Achery

*2024-12-22*

This is the greatest change in archery in the last 30 years! I cant wait to see what theyll come up with next!

### 5/5 — Works great

*2024-09-21*

Love the concept and app. Think it’s a great way to sharpen ethical hunting skills by being able to practice angled shots. My only recommendation for the developers would be to maybe outline the far side lung to be able to see if you had a single or double lung shot without guessing.

### 5/5 — The Future is Here!

*2024-06-22*

3D archery targets have been to same since they were invented! This is going to bring archery and ethical hunting in to the future—I can’t wait to see where they take it from here!

**Developer response:** We are excited too- thanks for your feedback!
