This would enable the better players to play against each other, otherwise it’s boring winning easily. ### 5/5 — A request or two to developers: *2024-09-09, version 3.0.0* Anyway, you could resurrect a few of these formerly QuizUp categories? Like… * _Name the Movie Star_. oh my golly in that category it was imperative to hit a perfect 20 on every photo or lose, loser! It was one of the craziest, fastest-paced categories I played! High Anxiety; Breathtaking! * _Finish the Beatles Lyrics_. The category title says it all. To BeatleManiacs like me who had all the “records” (American releases anyway) in first vinyl, then cassette, then CD found it fairly easy to be the high scorer and fly the banners on our front pages. “Top 10 in the World?” Yes please! * _Cat Breeds_. You've already brought back the dogs, after all… * Any number of other Rock Star categories, e. g. _David Bowie,_ _Queen,_ _Pink Floyd,_ _Led Zepplin,_ to name but a few. * Any number of Music Genre and General Music categories, including _1970s Music,_ _Women in Rock,_ Who Sang It,_ _Album Covers,_ _1980s Music,_ and the *excellent* _Folk Music,_ made with the Folkways Foundation (and I haven’t even mentioned any of the UK categories, specialty literature categories, kooky categories like grandparents, missing letters, or who am I? probably in my next post/request ;-) —>And one more thing, Mr. Developer: how come it’s so much harder to get a perfect 20 anymore? Do you think your timers might be a little fast these days? Or is it because I’m a little older? 😉 I will never stop posting positive reviews for QuizMi! QUIZmi4EVR! ### 5/5 — As With Most…. *2024-09-03, version 3.0.0* As with most I am an original Quiz Up user and think it was the greatest app for Trivia. I appreciate this one coming so close. I’m hoping it gets out there this game and we can get many more topics and questions as it grows. Otherwise, writing one of my first reviews ever because I think this deserves all the attention so we can grow it bigger and better! ### 5/5 — Brilliant new category; Colors! *2024-08-26* I love it, even though I lost the first round to a bot. It’s really a great thing you were doing here resurrecting this game and sticking with it. I wish I knew how to spread the word other than by leaving good reviews… (and listen, other nice people who’re playing… before you downgrade your review because bot playing is currently necessary, think of how much lower your review would be if you couldn’t even play the game. this developer is re-developing a beloved and long missed game format. It takes months or even years to get a game of this scope up to the level that QuizUp was with thousands of people playing anytime of the day or night… come on now. You are *still* getting questions right or wrong, you are *still* proving your metal that you know a lot of stuff… and isn’t that why we play trivia games anyway? Who do we really have anything to prove but to ourselves? And one final kindly comment to a previous reviewer: it was mentioned that you saw repeated questions after a few rounds - maybe six or 10… There are over 50 categories in this game. Do you really expect there to be endless non-repeating questions for that many categories? What; do you think they’ve got ENIAC running this thing? it takes a MINUTE to gather all this information yo, sayin…) QUIZMI4EVR! ### 5/5 — Please add offline mode! *2024-07-20, version 3.0.0* Great app I just wish there was an offline mode where I could just do some questions. Otherwise great app with high quality questions! ### 4/5 — YEAY! Every Body Start Playing Soon! *2024-07-14* Yeay OH Yeay! This game is going to be as good as QuizUp… it just HAS to be! QuizUp was THE PENULTIMATE online trivia game and I used to literally RULE several categories there; losing it was like (maybe) your first favorite ball team moving to a new city of its own accord; NO JOY LEFT AT ALL IN MY SPECIALTY… which is, basically having a head full of random useless information that gains me nothing EXCEPT excellence at trivia games!! Love the quiz up style head to head competition. But I have been getting a lot of repeat questions after only playing the game infrequently for a couple of days. Hoping the bank of trivia will grow and change over time. Hoping more users sign on and will not be facing so many bots. Lots of potential! ### 5/5 — Great Potential! *2024-04-04, version 2.1.0* I was an OG fan of QuizUp and am very happy to see QuizMi come in to fill the void. Unlike other quiz apps, QuizMi allows you to only compete in specific categories and avoid things you know literally nothing about. Looking forward to updates that will allow me to challenge friends, make a profile, upload my own photo, and expand knowledge in other areas. As it is now, QuizMi has a lot of potential and I can see where they will improve in the future.
