## What is Quote Hoarder?

Quote Hoarder is a private box for the text worth keeping. Save a line the moment you read it, and find it again with just a few words.

Capture without leaving what you are reading
Select text in Safari, Notes, an ebook, or any app that supports sharing, then choose Quote Hoarder from the share sheet. You can also type it in, pull it from the clipboard, or save it instantly with a Shortcut or a double tap on the back of your iPhone. Share an image and the app reads the text from it, entirely on device.

Keep the context, return to the original
Every clip stores the source name and original URL when they are available, and you can edit the source later. One tap takes you back to where it came from.

Find it in a few words
Search covers the text, your notes, sources, URLs, and tags at once. Rename or merge tags, pin the clips that matter, and select several at a time to tag or delete them together.

Your collection stays with you
No account required. Clips live on this device, and the app never sends them to a developer server. Export a JSON backup, merge one back in, and restore anything you deleted by mistake.

Made to fit your habits
Switch between English and Chinese at any time, choose a light or dark theme, and decide whether shared text saves right away or pauses for review. Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, and Reduce Motion are supported.
