Hey guys, I just want to install this app but when click skip button in login or sign up form then always appear pop up Invalid API key on my iPad gen9 for IOS 17.5.1

May Allah bless the developers of this app. The ‘swipe’ function is very useful for a visual learner when memorising Qur’an. 

However, it doesn’t work effectively and swiping even slowly ends up revealing large portions of the ayah. This could be fixed using a range slider so you can see how much you need to slide to reveal a certain amount of words.

It would be so helpful if you added the option word by word reveals, using an arrow to go forward or back a word. Would make memorising so much easier.

I really hope you can implement these in shaa Allah it will be very helpful for memorisation of the book of Allah.

Rewriting my review after a few months of use. I bought a year subscription because i could afford it at the time, and it is an easy investment, enough to make me want to apply myself to get my moneys worth. The free trial is nice. I have memorized almost 10 surahs with this app. The urdu font is the only readable one. I use the medina hafs mushaf and the words for that font are in the wrong order in this app, like al fatihah reads “alAlameen rabbi alhamdulillahi”. Sometimes the app shuts down when i change settings in the middle of a lesson. The best distinguishable feature in this app is that it tracks your progress and charts it. The hasanat point system is encouraging. Some of the featured tabs just say something like “coming soon inshallah” so may AllahSWT give me sabr as i study in the meantime. Until then i play the loop of my chosen reciter in the background, and read along in my own mushaf or another app’s copy, until i find an app that can loop selections of ayahs in my chosen font. Its nice to be able to hear the audio in the background when i switch apps. If you are used to the urdu font and can afford the subscription, this app is great for you.
-few more months later: the app wont open for me now. Something about “Missing important files” … i figured maybe there was an update to download. Plot twist, this app hasn't been updated in 5 years. iCannot even use the few features i enjoyed. Maybe its time to let it go.

Is it just my apps or the kalimahs jumble up in a sentence. Ive checked the audio is correct, but the ayahs definitely different from my quran. How do i fix this?

Everyone is different when it comes to their approach to memorizing. This app allows for a 3 ayah at a time feature which is my approach and being able to hide the ayat is nice when memorizing.

I downloaded this app as because it was recommended to be an app with great transliteration. But it does not work. There is not a way to sign up or login. Just thought the development team should know.

First off I found a mistake in their Quran within seconds of opening the app.

I emailed them multiple times and tried their website contact form. No reply after 2 weeks!

I can’t unsubscribe bc the app keeps timing out.

I’m worried it’s a virus or something!

Should not ask ppl to pay if it keep crashing

UI very complicated

Great concept but long way to go to make it good and worth it for ppl to pay..

If your gona create an app ambitious like this make sure u have the stamina to tc of its maintenance and improvement

Terrible. It’s been 3 days, I am trying to highlight verses I can read, but I can’t select or change them. No response from customer support. Better to use any of the simple audio recordings readily available online and read on our own, than have reading the Quran become a frustrating experience with this app.

I wanted this to work. I gave it a try coz I thought maybe it will help me. But, sorry to say it’s not worth it. Study plan keeps resetting so I have to look where I stopped again and again. Study groups are like not active. There are only 5 groups meaning 5 different surah so if you’re not memorizing that you have to create your own. They could make a group themselves to encourage users. But, no you make your own group. One of the ways to memorize swiping is very tricky to use. You need to swipe a certain angle or else you will reveal the whole ayah. My fingers are tiny so my fingers are not the problem. I would love to get a refund. Definitely discontinuing subscription. There are free apps for memorizing. I’ll just use those. No social media and no study plan, but, doesn’t matter. Coz their study plan doesn’t work anyway and their social groups are not active. So nothing different.

This app has been so incredibly helpful while I’ve been learning the Quran. I wanted to memorize the Quran so I love how the app splits it up to go line by line and has features that allow you to focus on one line at a time. Very thankful I found this app, I’ve gone through a couple who aren’t as helpful for someone who is a beginner. Love love love Quran Companion!!!

I love the fact that I could record myself after memorizing and read back while I listen to myself. I also love the fact that I could repeat a recitation as many times as I would like making it easy to memorize an ayah. Alhamdulillah, to have come access this app. And it’s free🤪. Baraka’Allahu.
