He was not just a reciter, but the main reason I chose this app over others. Since his removal, the app no longer offers the same value or experience, and I have already moved to another app. It is disappointing to see such an important feature removed despite how much users appreciate it. Bringing him back as an optional reciter would restore trust and bring many users back, including myself. The app was excellent on iOS, and I used it daily before sleep because of Mishary Rashid Alafasy. After removing this reciter, the app lost its most important feature and the experience became incomplete. Everything in Quranify is built using our own limited resources. Because of this, all of our team members have full-time jobs, and we work on improving the app in our free time. That’s why some updates and new features can take longer to arrive. We also choose not to use ads in the app because, as Muslims, we want to avoid showing inappropriate content. Even though ads could generate income, we decided not to take that path. At the same time, we want to clarify that listening to the Quran and accessing reciters will always remain free for everyone. Subscriptions are only for extra features and convenience — not for restricting access to the Quran. By subscribing, users are not only unlocking features, but also supporting the project and helping us continue improving the app for Muslims around the world.
