### 3/5 — App works till it doesn't

*2026-08-12*

The app stopped working after it updated. Then it said I don't have an account. I created a new account and every time I go on the app it says there is an app update but it already downloaded. It's super frustrating because the Face mask is amazing!
I am giving 3 stars because when I created a new account my history came back and that is really the main reason I use the app. As of right now I have the option to click update later and keep using with my history showing

### 2/5 — Won’t log treatment

*2026-04-19, version 2.0.3*

Won’t log the treatment in the calendar and then doesn’t notify you of your next treatment. Missed the day I should have done my second treatment, not a great start to using the product.

### 2/5 — Needs more work

*2026-01-27, version 2.0.2*

Recent update made it easier to connect the app to the device but it no longer keeps track of what days you've used it. Attempts to notify the developer just links to home page of Qure's website.

### 1/5 — Needs improvement ASAP

*2026-01-15, version 2.0.0*

I disliked the other app however this update is even worse! Once the treatment is done, it will not allow me to do another round or complete a different light setting. It’s inconvenient and annoying

### 2/5 — Meh

*2026-01-12, version 2.0.0*

Worked great at first about a week ago early January, it started to have trouble giving me the option to start treatment. I spend 10 minutes (the time it takes to complete my neck light treatment) continuously connecting my mask but it never shows to start or customize the treatment. It will eventually but that is a time suck and it is annoying. This morning (Jan 12) it actually only took 5 minutes to start treatment but after customizing my treatment with both blue and red light and starting treatment, only the blue lights worked not the red. I called and they said it is an app error. They did not say when or if it will be fixed and just said that I have to keep checking for an update. Until then we are just to use the manual mode. Not a big problem but I paid more to have the customization of their product. Hope they fix it soon

### 1/5 — Messed up an ok thing

*2026-01-08, version 2.0.0*

App update took an ok app to a fail. Loops wanting to plan treatment and can’t START the dang treatment so that it eliminates the need for the app because you have to start it manually.
Boooooo.

### 1/5 — Update not better

*2026-01-07, version 2.0.0*

The old app version was unintuitive and required so many clicks to start a treatment. The update now asks to treatment plan updates every single time and does not show when a treatment was completed or missed. I thought it couldn’t get worse…

### 3/5 — Mask great, app ok

*2026-01-07, version 2.0.0*

The update connects faster, but the app keeps prompting me to set up a schedule. Once it’s fixed, I’ll change my rating.

### 1/5 — New update sucks!

*2026-01-05, version 2.0.0*

I’ve been using this mask for almost a year with zero issues! Now with the app update it’s near impossible to do my daily treatment! Please fix it or go back! Horrible!

### 1/5 — Update is even worse

*2026-01-05, version 2.0.0*

Unnecessarily, complicated and confusing. I just need a simple “start treatment” button, and I would be good to go. I don’t need this to be an in-depth diary of my skin care journey. Deleted and now just use a timer on my phone.

### 1/5 — New update terrible

*2026-01-05*

With the newest update, it wants to create a treatment notification every time I use the mask. Now I have multiple daily notifications and it doesn't allow for editing or deleting of notifications. I have two now that pop up everyday. Yet when I go in and look at the notifications in the app, it says I have zero notifications set up. THEN, I decided to just disable all notifications in the app and I STILL get the notifications.

### 2/5 — New Update is more unreliable than the old version

*2026-01-04, version 2.0.0*

This most recent update definitely has some welcome improvements; however, that’s only when the app actually works. There are some UX issues that need to be addressed.
- It no longer allows you to do multiple treatment sessions back-to-back (eg. Blue light and then red light),
- it does not log or show your completed treatments on the calendar like it used to,
- the app freezes when your live treatment completes.
- When you connect the mask, it automatically pushes you to set up a scheduled treatment, so you need to exit out and then go back to start a treatment if you want to do one without a schedule. I accidentally set a daily treatment reminder through this forced workflow, and despite deleting this from the schedule/calendar, I still receive notifications every day. I had to turn off the push notifications for the app entirely to override this.

The connectivity and battery level indication seem to be a bit better, and the app seems a bit more modern now, but essentially nothing works lol

### 1/5 — App update sucks

*2026-01-04, version 2.0.0*

Just got my new face mask for Christmas and was using the old app which worked fine. Woke up on New Year’s Day with the new app and now it won’t let me do anything. There’s no tutorial on the new update and it does not allow you to customize your treatment anymore. It’s very frustrating considering how much this thing cost. Please someone fix this or put it back to the old way as soon as possible!!!

### 3/5 — Decent and Needs more Improvement

*2026-01-03*

Connects great. Works ok. The interface seems buggy and sometimes will freeze after connecting or doing treatments, also a little confusing if you want to do multiple treatments. It works well sometimes and other times requires you to resave treatment plan information before doing a treatment???. Needs more customizable options and be able to save settings correctly for the user with suggested parameters. The mask is five stars the app is a two to three stars.

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2026-01-03, version 2.0.0*

Unfortunately, this update has made the app harder to use. My previous usage history is gone and I now have to schedule a time every time I open the app and select my device. This feels unnecessary and frustrating. I also don’t want to take daily selfies or leave reviews. This should be offered then if not selected disappear. The earlier version was much more streamlined being able to open the app and go straight to the device was a better experience. I hope these issues can be reconsidered in future updates.

### 1/5 — Update is not working.

*2026-01-03, version 2.0.0*

This is the worst. Mask was working fine before update. Update turned it into a useless brick. Reminds me of the Sonos app release disaster. Do not buy!!

### 1/5 — Awful!

*2026-01-02, version 2.0.0*

I’ve been using Qure for over a year now and this latest update is beyond awful. Much more gimmicky and I will repeatedly chose not to receive notifications actions when creating a treatment but saves regardless. Can’t do multiple treatments per day, as you could prior to update. I will no longer be using the app whatsoever and perhaps looking for a different LED mask all together. Poor, poor move Qure.

### 1/5 — New Update is Awful

*2026-01-01, version 2.0.0*

The new update wont let me customize which lights I want on in the same 24 hour period. So if I use it at night one day and then try to earlier in the day the next day like I normally do instead of at night, that feature is locked.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Looks good, but doesn’t work

*2026-07-15, version 2.0.4*

Entirely frustrating app. Connects to the device (I have the mask), but I need to connect 3 to 4 times before the app recognises the mask properly. I don’t understand why if you have registered the item in the app that it continually asks for you to confirm when you want to run the device. Surely if you’re connecting you want to run it? Tempting to give up on the app completely and just run it “offline”.

### 1/5 — App sucks

*2026-05-30, version 2.0.3*

The face mask is nice. The app is trash. If I knew the app was awful I probably wouldn’t have bought the mask. It disconnects all the time, making me reconnect a million times before I can actually use the mask. If you haven’t bought the mask already, don’t.

### 1/5 — Never works correctly

*2026-05-16, version 2.0.3*

Every time I try to log an infusion treatment it sits there thinking forever and never logs it on the calendar.

### 1/5 — Love the device HATE the app

*2026-03-02, version 2.0.3*

The app doesn’t connect to the mask. You’d think for nearly $400 the app would work so you can use the device as it was intended

### 1/5 — Connects but Never tracks

*2026-02-10, version 2.0.2*

Device connects but can’t seem to track my daily sessions.

### 1/5 — Crashes and mask disconnects every time

*2026-01-23, version 2.0.1*

I really wanted to like this app as it looked so beneficial for the LED Mask but each day I go to use it the app forgets my mask and I have to resync every time I use it and it will constantly freeze after each individual manual use so the app and Callander widget in itself is useless which is such a shame. I really hope they can fix this issue as it seems to of been going on for a while!

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2026-01-22, version 2.0.1*

If you miss a treatment you can’t edit the current plan you’re on. Product is great so far but the app isn’t helpful.

### 1/5 — App update is horrible

*2026-01-21, version 2.0.1*

The new version doesn’t save any of my completed treatments. I also lost my treatment history with the update. Like another reviewer mentioned, it asks me to set a treatment schedule each time I connect. The mask gets 5 stars though.

### 1/5 — Mask is great, but app needs to be fixed so I can use it

*2026-01-20, version 2.0.0*

The update connects faster, which is great. However, the app currently forces me to set up a new schedule before I can use the red light therapy. Once that’s fixed, I’ll happily update my rating.

### 1/5 — Even after updates, this app has not gotten any better

*2026-01-18*

The mask itself is great and works really well, but the app is very frustrating. I receive multiple notifications in a single day even though notifications are turned off. The biggest issue is the tracking. If I set a notification reminder for a certain time, the calendar shows a red dot for every single day in the future, even though that doesn’t mean I actually used the mask. That makes the calendar useless for tracking real usage.
If I remove the notification within the app, then nothing shows up on the calendar at all—it’s completely blank. There’s no accurate way to see which days I actually used the mask. It would be much more helpful if the calendar only showed a red dot on the days a treatment was actually completed and left other days blank.
Given the cost of the mask, one would expect the app to accurately reflect usage and help show progress over time. While the app allows you to take progress photos, all the images are stored in a basic gallery. There’s no way to compare photos side-by-side, zoom in, or closely review changes—you can only view them as small thumbnails. This makes it difficult to truly see results.
The mask itself is excellent; I just wish the app matched the quality of the product.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy & Efficient

*2026-02-18*

This app automatically connected to my Qure face mask. Works great! The targeted treatment is so cool. I love doing the blue light on my cheeks and chin where I’m most acne prone. Also love that I can set a notification for a daily reminder to do my treatment! 10/10

### 5/5 — Changing review

*2026-01-22, version 2.0.1*

much better after the update

### 5/5 — Works well so far

*2025-11-24*

Connected this right away to my Q-Rejuvalight mask and was able to select the treatment I wanted. Super helpful to have that option for customization. As with most Bluetooth connections, you have to turn on the mask in order for it to connect.

### 5/5 — Great Product and App has Improved

*2025-10-22, version 1.0.14*

It was easy to connect to the mask. This is a great app!

### 5/5 — Great to keep track of treatments

*2025-05-29, version 1.0.12*

Helpful to keep on track with treatments and also to set up a specific treatment. I like to use the aging setting on my forehead and the anti-acne everywhere else. This makes it easy to mix treatment types.

### 5/5 — Best skincare for personalized advice!

*2025-05-28, version 1.0.12*

Loved using it to configure the treatment for my skin.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2025-05-28, version 1.0.12*

This is great- helps me track and custom my treatments and the best bit is tracking my progress ❤️

### 5/5 — So useful!

*2025-05-28, version 1.0.12*

Love that I can change the light settings to suit my face, I have breakouts on my cheeks so can set the mask for anti acne there and anti aging for my forehead lines.

I also use the reminder settings, which is great for me as I would normally forget to do it!

Plus the image section is great. I used to take images on my phone to track my progress but again I would forget hah it’s get to have that all in one place.

The app the mask feel more than just a mask and like a skincare journey is it supporting me on.
Not sure what all the bad comments are about - they must be old as the app does not crash at all for me.

### 5/5 — So useful!

*2025-05-28, version 1.0.12*

Love this feature. I had a mask from another brand before and it felt very much one size fits all.
I struggle with breakouts on my cheeks and want to help with fine lines on my forehead, so being able to set anti-acne on my cheeks and anti-aging on forehead is so smart!

### 5/5 — Game-Changer for At-Home Skincare!

*2025-05-27, version 1.0.12*

I've been using the Qure Skincare app alongside their LED face mask and microneedling patches, and the results have been fantastic. The app is sleek, user-friendly, and packed with helpful features that guide you through each treatment step with ease. I especially appreciate the personalized skincare routines—it really feels like I have a professional aesthetician in my pocket.

The progress tracker and treatment reminders are super helpful for staying consistent, and the integration with the LED mask makes the whole process seamless. Plus, the educational content on skin science and product usage is top-notch.

If you're serious about improving your skin from home, this app (and the Qure system overall) is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!
