## What is Qwidict?

Write down what you hear.

Qwidict plays you a measure. You write it down. Then you see straight away what was right and what was not — not just a score, but your own staff in colour, with the solution underneath.

NEVER THE SAME ONE TWICE
Qwidict holds no list of ready-made exercises. The app composes each dictation the moment you press start: the rhythm as well as the melody. You set the boundaries — level, clef, key, time signature, and how often a measure may be replayed. Within them the supply never runs out. Don’t feel like choosing? Tap the dice and let the app decide.

THREE KINDS OF DICTATION
• Rhythmic and melodic: pitch and note value, the full exercise
• Rhythmic: rhythm only, everything on one line
• Melodic: pitches only, in even notes

ONE MEASURE AT A TIME
You hear a single measure and write it down with the do-re-mi buttons. Missed it? Play it again — you decide how often. A moving line shows where you are in the measure, so you both hear and see where every note falls.

SEE EXACTLY WHAT WENT WRONG
Green is right, red is wrong, and the solution appears underneath. One look tells you whether the pitch or the rhythm was off — which a score on its own never does.

FOUR LEVELS
1. 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4. Whole, half, quarter and eighth notes. C major.
2. Sixteenths, dotted quarter, eighth rest. The keys of G and F.
3. 6/8, 9/8 and 12/8. Triplets. The keys of D, A, B flat and E flat.
4. 5/8 and 7/8, irregular meters and harder sixteenth-note groupings.
