### 1/5 — Would not recommend unless you want to spend 2 hours siting on a bus to nowhere

Tried getting a ride from Midway to campus. Was scheduled to leave Midway airport at 1:30 we left Midway airport at 1:30 and returned back to Midway at 3:00 without ever going to campus. Had to wait at Midway until 3:30. I spent two hours riding around a bus in Chicago for no reason. Why advertise giving a ride at 1:30 if you won’t actually get to leave for campus until 3:30? Please learn from my experience and find another way to travel.

### 1/5 — Cannot operate even after the ride

It’s really weird that I cannot book a new ride during my current ride. This is not unsafe since I am not driving. This cannot be unlocked even if it was a few hours after I finished the ride.

**Developer response:** I apologize for the inconvenience. The bus company who we provide technology for did not end the ride in a timely fashion. We have also updated the app with the latest release to be able to minimize the active screen to maneuver  around the app while on a ride.

The R2U bus system, connecting Purdue campus to Indianapolis and back, is a convenient option for students looking to travel between these hubs. The buses themselves are impressively comfortable, offering a smooth and enjoyable ride, and the drivers are fantastic—friendly, professional, and skilled at keeping the journey pleasant. However, there’s a frustrating glitch in the registration system: the bus has a 50-seat capacity, but when more than 50 students sign up, the count bizarrely goes negative, implying more passengers than seats available. This oversights leads to confusion and overcrowding risks. A simple fix would be capping registration at 50 on the app and closing that ride option once full—no more negative numbers, just clarity and fairness for all riders. With this tweak, R2U could truly shine as a reliable student lifeline.

Good drivers, buses, and even places to store baggage. I would recommend this 10/10 to anyone! Also makes it cheaper to travel to Indy airport and easier commutes.
