### 3/5 — I like app controls, but schedule is crazy.

*2026-05-04*

I don’t understand why the schedule is weird. I have all schedules turned off except for Monday-Friday, 8-5pm. It will still turn on on the weekend and outside of those hours. I don’t know how to fix it. Maybe the old app is still interfering?

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback TeacheLiz. Could you please reach out to customerservice@rabbitair.com. We can work with you to troubleshoot the issue. It could be a setting, the old app interfering or a specific problem with the software that we are unaware of.

### 2/5 — No notifications

*2026-04-07, version 1.1.31*

I get no notifications from those app. Always have to open it to check filter status.

### 2/5 — Not intuitive at all

*2026-04-06*

I hate it. It works, but you have to screw around with it and look at all the different “views” because they’re not all the same and not all the features work in the different “views”. In fact, I have to stand right next to it to make sure it’s working. Did I say I hate this new interface? If not, then I hate it. Clearly they did not have anyone unfamiliar with this test it to see if it makes sense.

**Developer response:** Hello Schmelshk, Thank you for your candid feedback. We understand how frustrating this experience can be, especially when features aren’t consistent across views. Your comments about usability and testing are important, and we’ll share them with our team for review. Kind regards, Rabbit Air.

### 1/5 — New app won’t connect to wifi at all

*2025-12-12, version 1.1.26*

Forced to switch to this new app, and now can’t connect to the device due to error “04_NOCLO”.

### 1/5 — Can't use

*2025-12-04, version 1.1.26*

Just bought the purifier and installed this app, and it stuck at the very 1st step of create account. It doesn't send the code to my email and I literally can't even create an account.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2025-11-16, version 1.1.26*

App won’t send the pin to create an account.

### 1/5 — Fix app

*2025-11-10, version 1.1.26*

App doesn’t work

### 2/5 — Rabbit Air Won’t Connect to App After Update to Version 2

*2025-11-08*

I purchased the wireless Rabbit Air and originally used the first version of the app, which worked great. After about a year, it stopped working and forced me to switch to version 2 of the app. Since then, I’ve had ongoing issues connecting to the unit. I can see the Rabbit Air wireless network, but the app seems to skip that step and jumps straight to my home network, yet it never actually connects. Now I have to manually turn the unit on and off or adjust the settings myself. I know it sounds foolish , but it defeats the whole purpose of having a wireless unit.

**Developer response:** Hello Arios, We’re sorry for the connection issues. Please email us at customerservice@rabbitair.com with your unit details and we’ll help you get the app and wireless features working properly. Kind regards, Rabbit Air!

### 1/5 — First app MUCH better

*2025-10-16*

Second app is not intuitive at all. Details and controls are now something you have to navigate and try to figure out where they hid it. Who came up with this garbage? Deleted and using first app, which is great! Why two stars and not one? The icon looks better… wow

**Developer response:** Hello Kenster64, We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the new app and appreciate your honesty. We’ll share your feedback with our development team as we continue improving the design and usability. Thank you for your understanding!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t show air purifier status

*2025-09-25*

Old app shows current air quality and current settings as expected regardless of how the purifier was turned on. This one shows “off” for air quality and all settings even if the purifier is on unless you made the changes from within this app.

**Developer response:** Hello Ncarby, We’re sorry for the frustration. Air quality shouldn’t display “off” unless there’s a connectivity issue. Please email customerservice@rabbitair.com with a screenshot of the “off” screen so we can investigate; in the meantime, try refreshing the app and power-cycling the unit by turning it off and unplugging it for one minute.

### 3/5 — Why another app that features less?

*2025-09-25*

The first app was great! Then I got a notification to get this 2nd version. After numerous difficulties connecting and powering it off and starting over I finally got it to work. The interface is poorer. The old app showed the numbers of particles in the air and everything! I paid for the expensive A3 for a reason. It has the newest laser particle counter and now I can’t see the results. It’s just a poor substitute for the original app.

**Developer response:** Hello J. Grimm, Thank you for your feedback. The new app does have this feature. You just need to tap on your unit from the home screen, then go to the next page and click on the down arrow next to air quality to view the particle concentration.

### 1/5 — Bad to worse

*2025-03-28, version 1.1.19*

The first app had issues. Touch anywhere on the screen and you changed a setting. Version 2… Constant login issue. If I can’t even use it, it’s garbage.

03.28.25-Received an update from the developer stating everything is fixed. It’s not. Still can’t login. Deleted the app. Reinstalled. Still garbage.

### 4/5 — App functional again.

*2025-03-24*

App is functional again. i hope this was a lesson to do better app qa in future though.

**Developer response:** Hello Mysticalos, we are so sorry for the inconvenience this last update has caused. Thank you for your feedback, and we truly appreciate your patience. As a newly launched app, we’re continuously working to improve your experience and implement helpful updates based on user input like yours. We are glad you are able to log in and use the app after the most recent update.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App stopped working

*2026-07-15, version 1.2.0*

Literally just gave me an error code “02_NOINIT” out of nowhere. Greenflags on wifi and all other tests but still didn’t work. I deleted and redownloaded the app and now i can’t even log back in.

### 1/5 — Where's the filter reset?

*2026-06-29*

This latest version is missing to filter reset in the app. Both for the MinusA2 and A3. I need to reset it on the unit, which also isn't intuitive. Also when changing the fan speed on the app, it takes a few minutes for the fan speed to actually chnage.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. For the MinusA2, the reset will appear within the app the closer you get to 12 months of operation. If you need this reset before the 12 months, please reach out to our 24/7 customer service team and they can reset it manually for you in the app. The A3 has an NFC tag located on the customized filter. When all filters are changed, including the Customized filter, the filter life on the unit and app will automatically reset. If this is not happening for you, please reach out to our customer service, and we can continue troubleshooting with you.

### 1/5 — Another app that’s released untested

*2026-03-16*

Upgraded today to the latest app after years of the old app just fine and now it won’t recognize the pin it sends or let me proceed. Why it even needs me to “logon or create an account” again after updating makes no sense. Clearly untested.

**Developer response:** Hello Educator at Heart, We apologize for the inconvenience. The account needs to be activated first before you can log in. Once the activation step is completed, you should be able to log in without any issues. Can you please send us an email at customerservice@rabbitair.com so we can send you the account activation email. We look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Rabbit Air.

### 1/5 — Can’t sign up

*2026-03-11, version 1.1.31*

Won’t take the 6 digit passcode from my email. I tried several times.

### 1/5 — Logging in

*2026-03-09, version 1.1.31*

The app won’t accept the verification code sent to email.

### 1/5 — Unable to login

*2026-02-09, version 1.1.30*

Currently am unable to access the app beyond the login screen. I receive the verification code to my email and then am told the code or login is unavailable.

### 1/5 — Fail login

*2026-01-18, version 1.1.30*

Try to login but says already have account. Reset and input the pin and once again same problem occur

### 1/5 — Unable to schedule

*2026-01-17, version 1.1.30*

The new app doesn’t allow me to schedule when my a2 turns on and off…

### 1/5 — Can’t even get the app to work at all?

*2026-01-07, version 1.1.30*

Never got an email with a PIN number (checked my spam too). When I try to resend the PIN it says, “ApiException: Can’t proceed. Please install Rabbit Air app first and connect your units”. When I search for other Rabbit Air apps there aren’t any?

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2025-12-18, version 1.1.26*

I bought a new a3 and started by downloading the app and it does not work. For a 700 dollar air filter you would think it would work. Wow unbelievable!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2026-07-26*

okay, I'm using this app with my new A3 air filter. The app seems to work very well for me on iOS 26 or 27. All the controls are accessible, and it's responsive. It was easy to set up. It’s great having remote control.

**Developer response:** Hello E 161555, Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're delighted to hear the app was easy to set up, responsive, and works well with your A3. It's great to know you're enjoying the convenience of remote control. We truly appreciate your support!

### 5/5 — App Controlled

*2026-03-13*

After customer service contacted me, I was able to log in. Nice App. Works well.

**Developer response:** Hello Cocojorge, We apologize for the inconvenience. The account needs to be activated first before you can log in. Once the activation step is completed, you should be able to log in without any issues. Can you please send us an email at customerservice@rabbitair.com so we can send you the account activation email. We look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Rabbit Air.

### 5/5 — Doesn’t show air purifier status (Updated)

*2026-01-30*

Update: Finally got around to messing around with this some more because some of the purifiers started blinking the ion light and the wifi lights were no longer on. Both apps were showing the devices as offline.

Deleting them from the app and redoing the wifi setup inside the new app ended up fixing both that issue and the issue with the new app. I did have to also unplug and re-plug in the devices to get the wifi setup button/light to work first, not sure if any of this was because of some kind of update or shutdown of the older app.

Some aspects of the new app I like. Being able to select the icon that matches the art panel of each device, the new scheduling features, and the ability to adjust the auto’s sensitivity are nice. I’m a big fan of being able to completely turn off all the lights during the sleep schedule. I also like that it’s a full screen on iPad now too. I wish it was easier to swipe devices without accidentally changing a setting, but for now I just use the dots at the bottom to bring up the selection menu. I think it would be good if the app had some kind of migration help built in to tell users what to do if the new app isn’t working properly with their previously paired devices.

Original Review: Old app shows current air quality and current settings as expected regardless of how the purifier was turned on.

### 5/5 — Useful remote for air purifier

*2025-04-01*

I’ve been reliably using the app since January—it paired easily with my air purifier and setting up schedules or adjusting the purifier from my phone was no problem. A recent glitch was patched quickly.

**Developer response:** Hello Place Nick Name Here, We are so sorry for the inconvenience this last update caused. Thank you for your feedback, and we truly appreciate your patience. It is great to hear that the app has been in consistent, reliable use since January. Always feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions or require assistance.

### 5/5 — Mood Light Control

*2025-03-14*

The updated app shares additional information with the user that’s easy to access.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We are so glad that you are enjoying the new information available on the App!

### 5/5 — Missing features from old app

*2025-03-08*

Missing features from old app such as child lock

**Developer response:** I am sorry to hear you are having trouble finding the child lock function. If you open the expanded options of your unit on the app, child lock is an available option. Please select the image of your air purifier after opening your app to see the expanded view options.

### 5/5 — Works perfectly - plus feedback

*2025-02-13*

The app is reliable and quite good for adjusting settings, seeing air quality etc. no complaints!

Feedback though: the mood light is fun I guess, but I’d really appreciate being able to connect the color to the quality of the air. That seems fairly common for air purifiers and counterintuitive here

**Developer response:** Thank you for the great feedback. Your recommendation will be passed along!

### 4/5 — Login broken (Now fixed)

*2025-03-31*

Review update: App is working now after fix. Giving 4 stars. If not for poor update deployment, I would have considered 5 stars.

Previous review: Login broken after this update. App is no longer usable.

**Developer response:** Hello iWoof, we are so sorry for the inconvenience this last update has caused. Thank you for your feedback, and we truly appreciate your patience. If there are ever any issues with the app we encourage you to reach out via review or directly to us as we will work hard to ensure a seamless experience.

### 4/5 — Functional but Barebones

*2025-03-30*

Nice app to control and view data remotely, but there could be more advanced control (e.g. light color corresponding to air quality) options or HomeKit integration.

**Developer response:** Hello StaticNumeric, Thank you for your valuable feedback we're glad you like the app! We'll pass along your suggestions about advanced controls and HomeKit integration to our team. There are additional integration options on the horizon and we are working hard to make them a reality.

### 4/5 — Can’t login with new update

*2025-03-29*

Update: Newest release has resolved the issue.

Newest update logged me out and now can’t log back in

**Developer response:** Hello Maticore, we are so sorry for the inconvenience this last update has caused. Thank you for your feedback, and we truly appreciate your patience.
