After registering for secure code, every time I opened the app it would tell me my account is locked for security reasons and I had to go through the process to register for secure code again. Deleting and reinstalling the app seems to have resolved so far. ### 2/5 — Upgrade useless *2021-11-24, version 1.2.1* Recently the RABO app was updated. Well, now you can only do one transaction at a time. After clicking on the “done” button, you have to wait for the app to close down before you can log in again and do another transaction. A real royal pain. ### 1/5 — iPhone issues *2021-10-17, version 1.1.5* Rabobank please fix. We have been waiting now for over a fortnight. Apple provides beta releases of iOS for developers to test their apps. Rabobank needs to use this time to make sure the app works so their customers aren’t locked out. ### 1/5 — Slack *2021-10-14, version 1.1.5* IOS 15 is out some now and available for development/testing a lot longer yet incompetent application specialists at Rabo still haven’t been capable of updating their already buggy app. Very disappointed. ### 1/5 — Issues on iOS 15 *2021-10-13, version 1.1.5* As other reviews state, this app currently has issues working on iOS 15 and will redirect you to sign in through online banking which requires the use of the digipass every time. Incredibly inconvenient. This has been going on since the first iOS 15 update came out, so a little over 3 weeks now. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work with iOS 15 *2021-10-06, version 1.1.5* App doesn’t currently work with iOS 15, hoping the issue will be fixed soon. Tho It often randomly deregisters your login and then have heaps of issues getting back in. There’s no communication from Rabo to advise this, it’s a matter of phoning them and being given this as an option to make it workable again. Just tells me there’s an error. Apps aren’t that hard to make Rabo! Why can’t you get this right? I thought at last I could get away with not having to use that stupid Digipass... But no. ### 1/5 — As bad as their website *2020-09-27, version 1.1.1* A lemon ### 1/5 — Can’t log in. *2020-08-17, version 1.1.1* Can’t even log into the app because every time I try to log in, I get a pop up that says ‘There seems to be an issue’ after I put in my PIN. Often not convenient for me to log into a computer to get into my account. Pointless having an app that I can’t even log into anymore (used to work just fine!). ### 1/5 — Apps broken *2020-07-27, version 1.1.1* I can log onto the site just fine but the app won’t login. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worst banking app *2025-11-18, version 3.1.1* No biometric login like every other banking I and forced to use a less secure pin. But often the pin doesn’t work so have to try again later. But if you enter it too many times it will lock you out and you have to phone them to get it unlocked but they are only open limited hours ### 1/5 — So clunky *2025-02-24, version 3.0.5* One of the worst banking apps in the history of mankind. Almost 0 intuitive human centered design, old and clunky. Fantastic savings rates though! % ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with internet banking as expected. *2024-11-21, version 3.0.2* I downloaded the app and installed it successfully which enabled access to my accounts though the app. Using internet banking became impossible as the app failed to generate the required secure code. Rabo bank told me I must delete and reinstall the app, after waiting 20 minutes on the phone. Great system guys! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work after setting up secure code on other device *2024-11-12, version 3.0.2* Can’t log in at all any more. It also wants me to use my old digipass even though I have registered for secure code and using that on my other device. Contacted support but had any reply days later ### 1/5 — No biometric security *2024-09-17* No way to secure the app by biometrics like other banks, yet they want this to replace the security token. Often the app also doesn’t work and won’t log you in ### 1/5 — Install a back button! *2022-08-31, version 1.2.4* This app is very frustrating. You have to close down the app and re-open it to move to another page as there are no back buttons. Surely it is easy to fix this in todays day and age? ### 1/5 — Not fit for purpose *2022-03-10, version 1.2.3* I don’t know what you are paying your app developers but it is way too much. IOS15 has been out for months not and you have yet to sort out the issues the app has. Perhaps you need to check out some of the banking apps of your competition for inspiration - it’s not like you could do any worse. ### 1/5 — Was working but not now *2022-01-19, version 1.2.2* I had this app since May 2021 was working perfectly fine until later in the year. I’ve seen others’ review now saying at similar time they weren’t able to log in. My issue is that once login, the page is blank and I cannot do anything. Bit frustrating used to work fine but not now. P.s my phone is updated to the recent iOS 15.1 I contacted and custom services, though they tried but still not working ### 1/5 — Terrible Banking App *2021-12-09, version 1.2.2* Despite many iOS updates, this Rabobank app fails to function for basic actions ie money transfers, it just freeze’s.
