Race Ultra has been built from firsthand experience and fuelled by a passion for enhancing the athletic journey, Race Ultra brings technology and endurance together, to cater to the needs of ultra athletes worldwide.

Create an event - choose from manual event creation for ultimate freedom to create any event you dream up, upload a GPX file for a pre-existing event and let the app do the work or use AI assist and let the AI assistant build the event for you including pre-filling you gear bag.

Live race dashboard — Check in and out of checkpoints and the app instantly recalculates your expected arrival times for every checkpoint ahead. Your crew sees the same live view so they're always ready when you arrive.

Offline support — Race Ultra now works without signal. Your race data is stored on-device and syncs automatically when connectivity returns — no lost check-ins, no gaps in your crew's dashboard.

Nutrition planning — Set water, carb and fluid targets for each leg of your race and log your intake at checkpoints. Keep your crew informed and your fuelling on track from start to finish.

Race Ultra provides a free 7-day trial. Usage beyond the trial is on a paid subscription. Crew members can access your event on the free version.

You can subscribe via the App Store using your Apple ID. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions via the 'Manage Subscription' page in iphone settings. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

I used to create spreadsheets to plan time to each checkpoint so my crew could meet me etc. This app does all that and more! I can link crew to my event and they follow progress live as the app recalculates ETAs as you go. All my gear is planned for each checkpoint so my crew knows what I need. Very nice 👌

A good attempt to fill a gap in the market but limited. Would be good to indicate drop bags when entering CP. Would also be good to be able to change order of CP once entered.

Graphics need some work but functionality is great. Change your planned pace and app updates all your checkpoint arrival times. Also has a gear list and crew chat!!

I love the concept but I was severely let down by the app this weekend when it completely failed during my 100k.
App continued to crash on my crew, they were unable to open it at all since the most recent update. During the race i was first unable to load data and then later in the day it would simply crash every time I opened it. Frustrating and disappointing to pay for something that literally does not work. Not sure what the beta testing looked like before the launch but i’m nit sure this was ready to go to market yet.
