Upgraded to iPadPro and cannot access a single new or previous issue. App keeps responding that it has “restored” all “purchases,” but it has not… No tech support in sight. Best option appears to be going to magazine website and browsing the free content. ### 1/5 — Don't update race car app *2014-03-15* Old version is better. Customer number is used password instead of the actual password. Once logged in and refreshed the app (or closed and reopened) I still cannot access magazines and it’s asking for payment. App is terrible. *2023-08-10* I have to “restore purchases” every time a new issue comes out. Some times I have to download it multiple times too. When trying to read, the brightness level will go down in steps until the brightness is all the way down. I have to restart my phone in order to adjust the brightness again. With the app open, the phone gets hot and the batter drains really fast. Like something is running in the background. Are they trying to mine bitcoin with the phone or something? Once the phone gets hot enough, the app constantly crashes. I have purchased the printed magazine which advertises that you’ll have access to all digital issues including the archived issues. NOT TRUE!! I have tried to login with email and customer number numerous times with no success. I have spent months working with their customer service with ZERO results or help!! DO NOT THINK THAT YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE DIGITAL ISSUES. This company might be the worst that I have ever dealt with! Chelsea Magazine is a joke!! Charged again for downloading the same issue, and app crashes when I try to download it and view. Absolute rip off. For example, its now February 12th and I'm sure the March edition should have come out a few weeks ago.
