## What is Racing App?

The Racing App from the GPSoverIP GmbH is intended for all racing sport fans, which have fun to get more information and details of the racing sport via new media.

Using this App offers the possibility for fans to see the racing event in a visual way. Positions of the racing cars for example will be therefore displayed live on a race track. The user additionally receives additional information like race calendar, information on the teams and race tracks.

This app allows racing teams via an authorization with their GPSoverIP-Account (GPSoverIP-Hardware GPSeye is required), to let their vehicles be shown on the selected race track for a desired time period.

This application is through the input of third persons like the racing team and the provider a media, which is permanently changing in his cognition. In this case we want to point out that the quality of the ceased data depends on the assistance of third parties (for example graphical material, driver information, quality of the vehicle positions etc.). Herewith the GPSoverIP GmbH wants to thank in the interest of the user. The GPSoverIP GmbH also aims with this collaboration for a constant function enhancement of the Racing App in future.

Note: 
For optimal use of the Racing app GPS services are used.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Really glad to discover this app, incredible help keeping track of all the cars! Couldn't work out what the different colour icons means though or the cars (worked out that the flashing red is livestream available)

Ich hatte die schon in der Vergangenheit genutzt. Für das 24h Rennen habe mir jetzt die aktuelle Version geladen. Respekt mit den jetzt integrierten Features Rundenzeiten und InBoard Kamera ist die App ein „must have“ zum Rennen👍🏻

Wusste gar nicht, dass es so etwas für den Nürburgring gibt. Echt cool. Man sieht die Fahrzeuge punktgenau und sogar, wenn auf der Strecke ein Unfall ist.

Die Racingapp ist ein sehr guter Begleiter, wenn man die aktuelle Position der Rennboliden in Echtzeit mitverfolgen möchte. Zusätzlich erfährt man auch welche Fahrer bei welchem Team auf welchem Auto sitzen.
Beim 24h-Rennen auf dem NBR gab es sogar eine Tabelle über die aktuellen Platzierungen der Wagen. 

Es ist klar, dass man auf die Mithilfe des Veranstalters und der einzelnen Rennteams angewiesen ist, dass alles funktioniert und der Nutzer Spaß mit der App hat. 
Dennoch würde ich mir wünschen, dass der Zuschauer auch auf anderen Rennstrecken der Welt (beispielsweise bei den 24h von Le Mans oder Daytona) in den Genuss dieses Services kommen könnte.

Ich finde es super, dass die Racingapp keinen finanziellen Profit beansprucht. Weiter so! 😀👍
