### 2/5 — Lack of Content makes iOS app Pointless

I have premium for the sole purpose of sideloading 3D/VR content on the PSVR app, which is more Sony’s failure than Rad’s success. There’s very little else to recommend about Rad. Most of the named channels in the app’s description e.g. Bloody Disgusting TV are not available in the UK. The channels that are available are basically shovelware, with no schedule visible so even on the off-chance they might show something you’d be interested in, you’d have no way of knowing. A lot of the on-demand content is AI-generated and while some is an interesting tech demo, it’s not anything you’d really engage with. Some of the VR content is good e.g. the Notre Dame documentary, but you really need to watch it in VR for the full effect. I don’t think there’s any reason to use the iOS app. The app itself is fine and other than some minor annoyances like the search function only applying to on-demand content rather than live channels, with content it could be worthwhile. Sadly the content just isn’t there.

I have an original model PS4 and use Rad for VR. It seems to have trouble side-loading and is currently unusable. 

- It constantly crashes when I scroll through my thumb drive. To avoid crahsinf I have to watch a video every few scrolls so that the app doesn't get overwhelmed. So annoying. 

Even worse, now it won't open because a promotional banner pops up, and the app never opens, preventing you from moving past that screen to see the main menu. Please fix! For me, the app is currently worthless, and I pay money monthly to use it. 

Last month, when using Rad on my PS4, it wouldn't load to be “online,” so I had to select an “offline” mod to use. Pretty, please fix this. I want to like your app. I continue to pay and support what you do; please make it usable.

I love this app. I am a big fan of VR and 360 videos/tech and this is my go to site and app to lookup random 360/VR videos. I can spend hours on this app. They have all types of categories and the quality is usually fantastic. This seems to be a newer company steadily getting bigger, they seem to be making this app better every time I update it. I love it and highly recommend this to any VR/360 video fans. Works great on my Apple TV as well.

Decent selections, looks to be a YouTube wrapper, but an incredible battery hog, reminds me of running adobe flash on my Mac. I can watch 5-6 videos & use about 60% of my battery. It gets so hot in the goggles the lenses fog up. 

The biggest annoyance is their auto preview that plays with no obvious way to turn off, very annoying.

I’m not seeing any reason one would pay $5 a month for this service. All the reviews are super old too, don’t waste your money here.

They charge you a monthly subscription that isn’t through apple and have it setup so that you can’t unsubscribe. I subscribed through Playstation and get billed $10 monthly.

I was subscribed when it was LittlStar when it changed I canceled the subscription and today I got charged anyway. The cancellation process is very opaque and everyone should stay away from them.

For a standalone VR app, video quality is OK”- but nothing spectacular. Videos on Littlestar are a bit blurry in Google Cardboard while other videos off YouTube are crystal clear. Also, you get five videos before its mandatory to create an account- which is fine, if the interface is working. But it’s not. After entering your email address, all you get is a message reading “A valid API key is required to access this endpoint.” ..  Developers are asleep at the wheel.

I use Littlstar on my PSVR but the recent update requires the camera to be uncovered, something which leaves me extremely uncomfortable doing after the Snowden revelations. Now a big block of text: ('Out of view') on a big black banner prevents me from enjoying VR content. This is not a VR game so it puzzles me why would the camera have to be uncovered. The app for me is now unusable.

Unfortunately this app has extremely poor quality videos there seems to be better quality 360 videos on YouTube and it is for this reason that I am giving such a bad rating.  For an app that is dedicated to 360 VR videos you would have thought that the quality would have been much better than any other video service of its type, but alas it falls short, also the lack of content let's this app down.  I've had sign in issues with this app and it's PSVR app and quality on both platforms are equally as poor.   I'd suggest sticking to the vast array of 360 VR channels on YouTube for a better VR experience.
