RAD Video is an authorised application of the Royal Academy of Dance and contains video content from the RAD’s Graded and Vocational Graded Examinations in Dance for the study and development of RAD teachers and students. These syllabi challenge students to meet the highest technical and artistic demands of current ballet training and performance, while also providing a way to find enjoyment, achievement and self-expression through dance. Each title can be purchased individually within the application, and the video content replicates that seen on the DVDs available for sale through RAD Enterprises, www.radenterprises.co.uk. Video content is then downloaded to your device, for viewing offline at your leisure. Further titles will be uploaded to this application for download over time. But every time I clicked on a dance, nothing would happen. PÉSSIMO! ### 5/5 — Amazing *2025-05-30, version 2.2.3* Helps so much to get the syllabus quickly ### 3/5 — Convenient but has issues *2025-05-11, version 2.2.3* It’s great for the convenience of being able to quickly look up the syllabus, but certain features don’t work properly and other features that should really be there are missing. The most obvious issue is that grade 7 is missing. There are some glitches, e.g. Setting the playback speed to 0.5x, scrubbing, then pressing play causes the video to playback at normal speed, even though it says it’s still playing back at half speed. This gets annoying after a while. There should also be an option to mirror the video, so that you can dance along without struggling to translate the movements into the correct orientation in your head as you go. At the moment I have to face my iPad away from me and place a mirror in front of it to get the desired effect, which isn’t really very convenient. ## Frequently asked questions about RAD Video ### What is this app?
