Also using them as a phone is much more difficult than it needs to be. When the phone rings you have to go into your settings and reconnect the glasses to the phone so you can talk on the the glasses. I love the concept but these glasses are in some serious need of an app update. It seems Oakley has just written off these glasses which is to bad because the concept was great but they left these out in the cold and have no updates planned apparently which is very disappointing. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t not connect to my profile anymore? *2020-06-03* Very disappointed No server to connect anymore App 2 years old and not working ### 1/5 — Tech disaster *2020-06-01* Trying for weeks to create an account on the app to no avail. Also, incoming calls go directly to the phone and not to the Bluetooth despite the fact that they are paired. This is an Oakley problem since it works fine on all other devices. The app won’t load on my Apple Watch...Try Later... over and over. Loaded on my iPhone but doesn’t show on the watch list... as it it supposed to be on the watch after initial watch sync according to app on my iPhone. Rides terminate at any time because the glasses think they heard something like... stop ride... even though that was not said. It stopped twice on last ride because of what it thought it heard. Always listening even without saying “okay radar.” The I didn’t understand that or I didn’t get that from the app... drives me crazy. I lead ride group and speak to the group during rides for holes, slowing, stopping, etc. The app complains every time I speak about not getting it or understanding. Make the dang “ok radar” activate voice commands and stop listening at some point. How can this app be so bad? Great idea but the app developers have really failed. The app is very intuitive and can create work out plans for you. I followed a running plan for its 8-week duration and it was very effective. Connects to other services like Strava seamlessly. ### 5/5 — Setup in about 10min *2019-03-28* For me the initial setup process took about 10min and I was up and pedaling on my bike listening to music and voice prompts. The glasses paired flawlessly with my phone and Garmin sensors. Overall I cannot understand all the negative reviews on this app but maybe bugs were fixed before I used it. My review is from march 2019. ### 5/5 — Achieving targets with RadarPace! *2018-03-06, version 1.5.1* Since I bought these glasses all targets have been easier to be achieved. It's like having personal trainer who can keep track and guide of both running and cycling workouts. Without a need to monitor continuously I can query my metrics like speed cadence power and get response through ear pods. Oakley provided 2 interchangeable glasses one being transparent for night rides/runs. I like the Intel workout programming but it can't map the ride for you or detect available elevation to complete tasks. So we should be able to set our routes or the Intel needs to link to google maps or Strava or something to provide better programs. Also you could make it able to set a cycling and running program to train simultaneously for multi-sport event. This will make it more appealing to triathletes very where. Swimming is out of the question but an edit screen and an additional coaching algorithm and bang! IRonMan will love it. Otherwise it is a worthwhile investment for single event training for people who want to be able to train around their work schedule. ### 4/5 — My own coach! *2016-10-05, version 1.1.1* This is a fun and useful workout app. It tracks my workouts and analyzes my data to give me appropriate feedback during my workout.
