It allows you to view the most up-to-date weather radar data - direct from the United States National Weather Service NEXRAD Level 3 Radar Network. Upon comparing many popular radar apps, paid and free, including this one, for over a decade, it became clear in the beginning that Radar Pro was the most useful, practical, simple, easy, reliable at identifying actual rain risk with RT data about to occur within the next hour or so, quickly accurate down to the street/house level. Always opens,runs, never ?Charges. Clearly identifies rainfall amounts, cooling thunderstorm outflow boundary waves, as well as waves of migratory birds!

I’ve been using Radar Pro for years, and one of the best things about it is its simplicity and clean design. The app does exactly what it needs to without feeling bloated. My only real complaint is the lack of Apple CarPlay support. Being able to quickly check the weather on the car display without grabbing my phone would be a huge improvement and safer while driving. Other than that, I still highly recommend the app, and I would definitely pay again if CarPlay support becomes available. I also purchased the previous version years ago and have been happy with it ever since.

I’ve used this app for a while and suddenly Dallas shows data for 9:58-10:25am at 4:02am.  It says nothing is happening.  Other radars show a wintery mix.  I’ve emailed tech support.
