## What is RadarScope?

RadarScope is an AMS-award-winning weather visualization tool that empowers meteorologists, public safety officials, storm spotters, and weather enthusiasts to view a full suite of single-site radar data and related severe weather products. Your initial purchase provides professional radar visualization in a fully native app, free from distracting and invasive practices, with optional subscription packages to add even more capabilities.

Whether you’re scanning for a mesocyclone’s tell-tale hook echo, pinpointing the landfall of a hurricane’s eye wall, or identifying velocity couplet, hail spike, or debris ball signatures, RadarScope displays native radar data in its original radial format. ### 1/5 — Radar vs Roads

*2026-08-22, version 5.6*

With the most recent update, it has become difficult to see the radar because of all the roads that have been added. This is supposed to be a weather radar instead of a road map. At least give us the option to turn off the secondary roads that have been added and adjust the opacity of the roads.

### 4/5 — Roads …

*2026-08-18, version 5.6*

The latest release changed the road density, it’s too high. Give us an option to reduce the displaying of secondary and tertiary roads. Or go back to previous version

### 3/5 — Glitches after last update

*2026-08-16, version 5.6*

I’m in central Illinois and I have paid for the pro version for years now, it’s a great way to keep track of the severe weather around here , but after this last update the nws out of Lincoln il is glitching in this. It only showing weather from yesterday 8-15-26 at around 0630 it’s now 8-16-26 at about noon cst

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-08-16, version 5.6*

Everything cool is behind a subscription. Looking for a way to get a refund. There’s better free apps.

### 1/5 — Outdated Radar Info

*2026-08-16, version 5.6*

I loved this app in the past, however, recently I noticed it’s been very unreliable. During critical times, the radar does not update and loops old radar data. I checked the source and it’s up to date on there, but just not on the app. Very disappointing.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-08-12, version 5.5.6*

App uses free NOAA data to milk people for subscriptions. You’re better off opening the NOAA site on your phone in the US.

### 1/5 — Don’t Buy! Feels like a scam

*2026-08-11, version 5.5.6*

What a waste. Not only do you have to pay 10$ to even download the app, to get any sort of information you have to pay AT MINIMUM another 10$ to actually use the app. It’s an appalling display of greed, to hide potentially life saving information behind two different pay walls.

### 1/5 — Won’t open

*2026-08-10, version 5.5.6*

This was a great app but it won’t open

### 5/5 — Best thing ever

*2026-08-09, version 5.5.6*

It helps me see acret whether

### 1/5 — Useless in Europe

*2026-08-01*

Not good
