Give us an option to reduce the displaying of secondary and tertiary roads. It only showing weather from yesterday 8-15-26 at around 0630 it’s now 8-16-26 at about noon cst ### 2/5 — Really wanted to love this. *2026-07-29, version 5.5.6* Good features are rendered almost useless as the only way to view more than a ten minute radar loop is to pay for a subscription in addition to the up-front payment. However, there are plenty of other free weather radar apps that come with more features, or at least just as many as the subscriptions for this one give. Additionally, this doesn’t show all possible tilts/ angles for radar stations in Canada, which is a significant limitation when you need high tilts/ angles to look at storms near weather radar stations. The app provides what it states in the description. But, for a $13 app, I would expect at least half of the same features as its free competitors. ### 3/5 — KGWX archive *2026-06-26, version 5.5.5* The archive from KGWX is broken, i have reached out to support and was told it would be fixed in the next update over a month and a half ago, upon tagging radarscope on x they said it was a file naming error, all yall gotta do is fix the file name, push the minor update, done, other than that best radar app other than wejj Radar ### 2/5 — Underwhelming *2026-06-19, version 5.5.5* I thought I was buying an app that was at the very least comparable to the free MyRadar app, and at the very least with resolution quality that looks like their logo. Instead I got a heavily pixelated radar image that is basically useless. Plus there ARE NO FORECAST GRAPHS! I paid $10 for basically nothing. In essence, I got scammed by AI who said this was the best app. What a joke. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Radar vs Roads *2026-08-22, version 5.6* With the most recent update, it has become difficult to see the radar because of all the roads that have been added. This is supposed to be a weather radar instead of a road map. At least give us the option to turn off the secondary roads that have been added and adjust the opacity of the roads. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2026-08-16, version 5.6* Everything cool is behind a subscription. During critical times, the radar does not update and loops old radar data. When I tell you that my immediate family members constantly reach out to me to ask what’s going on with severe thunderstorms, possible tornadoes, hail, etc., I am always certain as to what’s going on. I work as a trained weather spotter for the National Weather Service and it comes in very handy to help me keep an eye out on dangerous weather for everyone. This app along with the composite radar from a local TV station’s app provides an accurate enough heads up to be ready to comfort my hound. The other end is I would have loved this while taking my Meteorology and Climatology class in college.
