## What is Radio Echo?

Radio Echo has been providing Russian-speaking listeners residing in the Chicago Metropolitan Area with truthful and objective information for over twenty years. The original concept of “American radio station in the Russian language” has worked since 1987 and continues to grow as more & more Russian-speaking people have immigrated to Chicago. The popularity and growth of New Horizons Radio is unprecedented.
       Our audience demographics cater to not only Russians, but also Ukrainian, Belarusian, Armenian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Polish, Bulgarian and other Russian-speaking people. New Horizons Radio has more than 500,000 listeners. The largest Population Russian speaking lives in Buffalo Grove, Arlington Heights, Wheeling, Skokie, Northbrook, and Highland Park. 
     Our programs currently feature a whole variety of radio shows. We have live call-in shows, arts and entertainment reviews etc. specifically tailored to our audience.  Some features and specific news broadcasts are even “sponsored” by our advertisers.  In addition, we provide Russian entertainment and concerts that are very popular with our listeners and often sell out the first day.
.  This large coverage area makes our radio station accessible for the sizeable Ukrainian community residing in Ukrainian village as well as for thousands of Lithuanians living on the south side & suburbs all advertising campaigns on our radio station have proved to be extremely successful.
