Radio Métropole a été fondée le 8 mars 1970 et alors qu'en Haïti il existait peu de stations de radio, Radio Métropole se lança dans les innovations. Radio Métropole est fut la première radio commerciale à travailler sur la bande FM dès 1970, la première radio à émettre en stéréo en 1975, la première à diffuser la musique sur disques compacts en 1980, la première radio à réaliser des reportages, en direct à travers Port-au-Prince avec des émetteurs-récepteurs portatifs.

Aujourd'hui, avec ses trente années d'expérience dans l'information, Radio Métropole a gardé un traitement impartial et professionnel de l'information. Nous offrons aux auditeurs des émissions variées réalisées par des animateurs compétents, et une sélection musicale minutieuse, tant qu' haïtienne qu'internationale.
