As an app, it’s been brought back to basic functionality, but still missing some of the features of the previous version (they once had watch integration). The musical content and program keeps me engaged. Best in class! The app, however, has suffered recently with the complete rewrite that has occurred. One of the most important features of the app, for me, has been the ability to cache several hours of each station for me to enjoy when off of the grid. The rewrite introduced issues where all of the cached music disappears or while playing through a large cache, the app goes back to the beginning after playing 20-30 songs. Maybe I cached too many hours? Now, the latest revision appears to have eliminated this feature and it is crashing right after startup ### 5/5 — The Best *2026-04-12, version 9.1.1161* I’ve been listening for a long time and I like the idea that I can choose a mellow channel if I want to or the main mix. The first review is by a person who is a lot like me. I know all the songs of the 60s and 70s and love them, but I’m learning so much more about global music and I’m hearing a lot of music I never heard before. I learned so much. I like the skip ahead feature in the ratings feature. That allows me to have my favorites channel of songs over the years that I have rated highly. I listen to the main channel. I find the music to be very high class mixes, slow together seamlessly and I will never change! The station was recommended by Naim and was placed on my stereo. The discovery was delightful! I feed feral cats in the evenings and they and the racoons and love the music and come and sit not so close every night. sorry this is so long.! ### 2/5 — Recent updates don’t run *2026-04-10, version 9.1.1161* Careful with updating. The app crashes now all the time. In other cases updates made all downloads unavailable while they still occupied storage. Love the music. But since the new version of the app it’s become unusable on my iPhone 17. When I open the app I just get a black screen. I’ve restarted iPhone, deleted and reinstalled app. Nothing helps. I can only listen to RP through browser now. When I updated the version(#?) I had, it didn’t work - just got a black screen. Didn’t improve when I restarted the phone - I submitted the above. So I deleted and reinstalled it. Now it’s fine. First impression is a much different look. Kind of blocky looking. Can’t scroll the playlist to see it like before. Lyrics don’t follow along? Still love it all. Best online music app!!! And recently discovered the KFAT playlist!!! Was a FAT head in the 70s-80s and have been always missing it - have a sticker squirreled away. Very cool you brought it here Bill. FATgrams next?
