## What is RadioDig?

Find every tower. Know who owns it.

A tower on the horizon. A site on your route. A name behind the infrastructure. RadioDig brings public records onto one map so you can move from location to context.

FOUR SOURCES. ONE VIEW.
Explore antenna structures from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) database, licensed sites from its Universal Licensing System (ULS), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) obstacle records, and broadcast stations.

RESEARCH THE SITE.
Search by place, ZIP code or coordinates. Explore site records and ownership information to understand what you’re looking at.

TAKE YOUR RESEARCH INTO THE FIELD.
Download map areas before you head out, then access downloaded maps and records when a connection is unavailable.

FOLLOW PUBLIC FILINGS.
Browse public notices and their filing windows in the app.

RadioDig is an independent research tool, not affiliated with the FCC or FAA. Public records are not an exhaustive inventory of every tower or transmitter. Record availability and detail vary by source.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-17

What’s new in 1.2.0
• Look up FCC licenses on their own screens, and jump to a license from any structure, site or owner.
• Offline areas now work as a structure list, so you can search and browse the structures you’ve downloaded with no signal.
• Notifications show their full formatted text in the inbox.
• The feedback form is easier to find in the menu.
• Fixes for offline map banners and large navigation titles.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-11

- Favorites. Tap the star on any structure to keep it. A new Favorites filter shows only your starred structures, on both the map and the list. Your favorites are private to you and are the same on every device you sign in on. You can keep up to 1,000. Starring needs an internet connection.
- Share a structure. The share button now offers two choices: a RadioDig link, which opens that exact structure for anyone with a RadioDig account, and a Google Maps location, a plain map link that works for anyone with no account. Owners and FAA obstacles can be shared too.
- Shared links open where they should. Tap a RadioDig link and the app opens straight to that structure, owner or obstacle. If you have to sign in first, you land there afterward. Also, the link still works after our weekly data refresh.
- A clear message when something is gone. If a shared link points to something that has been removed from the registry, you get a plain message and a button back to the map.
Won’t interrupt you. If you’re in the middle of typing a note or recording audio when a shared link arrives, the app asks whether to open it, so you don’t lose your work.

### 1.0.0 — 2026-10-10

What's new in 1.0.0
- Structures as a list: switch from the map to a sortable list, ordered by status and then owner, and show any row on the map
- "This map area only" keeps the list to the area on the map, and is on by default
- A clearer loading indicator
- Rotating the phone no longer shifts the map
- Fixes and polish
