## What is RADIX?

RADIX: The Practice is the official companion to the book RADIX: The Law of Redirected Motivation—a philosophical framework that examines why optimization fails, how attention degrades under pressure, and what it means to rebuild from depth rather than speed.

RADIX: The Practice is a contemplative system built from 54 original works of art, designed to be encountered over time. The experience moves with the seasons. Some reflections return familiar ground. Others introduce entirely new forms—novel encounters that behave differently, surface unexpected perspectives, or quietly alter how the system responds.

You draw reflections when something tightens. Or loosens.
Up to three times per day. Then the experiences rests.
No notifications.

No streaks.

No habit loops.

No algorithm learning you.

Every reflection is a commissioned artwork—composed, rendered, and integrated as a structural element of the practice.
These are not prompts or affirmations. You are not asked to interpret, explain, or improve anything. Notice what reacts. That’s enough.

Beneath the visible layer are hidden architectures. Five internal voices emerge gradually—not through achievement or completion, but through continued presence. Each carries a distinct way of seeing. A sixth—The Mirror—remains concealed longer and reflects what the others cannot.

There are secrets embedded throughout the system. Some reveal themselves once and never return. Others remain dormant for months. Nothing announces itself. Discovery happens quietly, on its own terms.

Everything you encounter carries weight. Reflections drawn. Voices met. Covenants held.
The system remembers without narrating. Hold too much for too long and the practice shifts. Composting is how you release—returning what is complete back into the soil. From what you let go, a Garden grows. Clear enough space, and emergence becomes possible.

Time is part of the design. Some mechanics surface only after seasons have passed.
RADIX is not meant to be consumed quickly or finished. It unfolds slowly—just as you do.

Fifty-four original artworks.

Six internal voices.

Seasonal structure.

Hidden systems.

No subscriptions.
No ads.
No data extraction.
Nothing sold but the practice itself.

### 5/5 — New favorite five min ritual

*2026-02-10, version 1.1.1*

Okay confession: I downloaded this after seeking shelter from my typical doomscrolling session. I immediately liked the vibe.
Now it's become this weird little ritual. I'll open it when I'm overwhelmed, or when I feel stuck, or when I just need a reset that isn't scrolling or texting someone about my feelings for the 14th time.
The cards don't lecture you. They don't hype you up. They also don't try to coddle you. They just... land. Sometimes in a way that feels slightly suspicious, like "okay how did you know that?"
It's calm without being sleepy. And somehow it makes me feel more like myself when I use it.
Also the cards are gorgeous. I also love the little surprises.
Didn't expect to care this much, and I’m looking forward to reading the book!
Thank you!!

### 5/5 — An introspective analysis of human behavior and thought.

*2026-01-17, version 1.1.1*

When I downloaded the app I didn’t expect it to be part of my daily routine. The cards almost seem to align with relevant moments that are happening in my life. I like the perspective that the cards open my mind to, and the insight they provide. It’s a truly fascinating experience with a great view into a world of philosophical thought that may have otherwise been lost if I hadn’t stumbled across this app.

### 5/5 — An immersive spiritual experience

*2026-01-14, version 1.1.1*

I didn’t know what to expect from this app. That’s what makes it so intriguing. It’s an experience, a pause on the outside noise. I’ve tried multiple “meditation” apps, but this is very uniquely and thoughtfully crafted, with music and art that truly add to the whole experience. It stands by the Radix ideology that everything you need is truly within you. It isn’t trying to “tell” you anything, doesn’t really tell you exactly how to use it, but it is going to make you feel connected to your inner voice more than any other typical and mainstream techniques we are told to use. Expect to be taken for a mini calm spiritual trip every time you use it. Definitely a surprise that I now incorporate into my daily wind down. 100/10 recommend.

### 5/5 — Transformative App

*2026-01-13, version 1.1.1*

An app I use when I just need a break from the chaos of my day to day. It’s simple, yet sophisticated in thought. It’s calming but also awakens parts of me that I didn’t know were sleeping. It’s a truly great meditative app. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Worth sitting with

*2026-01-12, version 1.1.1*

I stumbled onto this app out of curiosity and decided to give it a try. I’m really glad I did.

I’ve been using it for the past three days, and it’s unlike anything else I’ve used before. It moves uncomfortably slow, but that’s part of the experience I guess. somehow that creates a real sense of calm. There’s a stillness behind it that I didn’t realize I was missing, and oddly allowed me to navigate some tough internal struggles.

One small note for the developer: I use larger text settings on my phone, and that seems to throw off the layout in a few spots. It doesn’t ruin the experience, but it’s noticeable.
Overall, this is a thoughtfully made app. I’m looking forward to continuing with it and seeing what other moments or surprises show up over time.

PS the art is gorgeous, I wish I could revisit the cards I pulled from previous session.

Thanks.
