I wouldn’t pay money for this app. It’s very simple. But also has a major error with the drawing of the basic gable, where the height (h) is meant to go down to the bottom of the birds mouth. Not the top of the top plate. I had to do my own calculations to work out what was wrong, which meant it made more work for me. They should resolve this issue and also make it free because it a very basic calculator with only 2 options and not enough information / calculations to really help a precision carpenter.

Save your money there is much better calculators for free on the internet.  I assumed it woiuld give me rafter calculations for any type roof I wanted to build, not gonna happen.  Specifically hip roof rafters mating 2 different pitches. I also had to figure out format to enter data with onscreen keyboard very annoying.  It did function for what it is very limited.

Bought to check personal calculations on a roof design for a shed I was building....waste of time and money.  Dimensioning to the center of the ridge beam when the ridge beam size isn’t defined is useless....
