## What is RāgāKit?

Bring ancient Indian ragas and rhythms into your music. No theory needed.

RāgāKit is a toolkit for music producers, beatmakers and curious musicians. Explore 63 Hindustani and Carnatic ragas by mood and time of day, hear how each one moves, then take it straight into your DAW.

RAGAS
• Hear each raga's ascent and descent on sitar, bansuri, santoor, harmonium, piano or keys, over a tanpura drone
• See the notes on a keyboard, in sargam, Western names and solfège, in any key
• Learn the pakad, the raga's signature phrase, as a hook for your track
• Chords that fit, built only from the raga's notes, for fusion, film and pop
• Genre ideas: which ragas suit lo-fi, trap, ambient or cinematic music

TAALS (RHYTHM)
• 13 rhythm cycles: Teentaal, Keherwa, Dadra, Rupak, Jhaptaal, Ektaal, Adi tala, Misra chapu, Bhangra, Garba and more
• Real tabla, mridangam and dholak recordings, tuned to your key
• Add a trap, lo-fi or house beat under any taal in 4
• Count along with the circle of beats: sam, tali and khali explained

FOR YOUR DAW
• Free MIDI for every raga, phrase, chord and taal, looping on whole bars
• WAV loops and phrases in your chosen instrument and tempo
• Save to Files, AirDrop or open in GarageBand straight from the share sheet
• Royalty-free: use it in your releases, streams, videos and games. No credit needed.

MADE FOR MUSICIANS
• Works offline
• No account, no ads
• Not an AI music generator: RāgāKit gives you the raw material, and the music is yours.
