About 2 hours in you’ll have to do PVP to progress the mission. Even at the lowest possible ranking, at bronze 3, there are ONLY max level players to match against. This has assuredly been the case since the release since nothing has been changed to stop maxed players from farming new players. There is 0 incentive to keep playing, progression feels nonexistent. Each time you get new gear, you just move to the next area to do the same auto kill over and over for random materials and gear that are never explained. QoL updates don’t exist for new players. I guess the idea is to milk the older players until the game dies. Can’t imagine why someone would ever play this over the 100+ similar games that have devs that aren’t lazy. Don’t bother. ### 1/5 — They just added NFTs and made it even more p2w *2022-10-11, version 12.0* Loved the original Ragnarok labyrinth it was a simple fun idle game. And even ignoring my extremely negative thoughts about NFTs they essentially made the base game even more p2w by basically gutting the ability to earn premium currency without paying. Before you could easily earn the currency for the QoL options like all your skill slots and such but now expect to pay 20-50$ just to get what you used to be able to earn for free just playing the game for a couple weeks. And that’s not even counting the power boost the NFT side adds. It’s very obvious they are just trying to milk whatever $ they can from the ip here. You’d find bits and pieces nostalgic like some music and the items that’s more easily accessible for a micro transaction type of game. Fun for being a modern update though. Let there be hangout spots like the old mmo Ragnarok so that there can be a social advancement for this platform. That will keep things leveled for the f2p. The overall chat is alright but you need chatting more organized.
