This game encourages people to spend to be able to compete. Too many microtransactions in game. If you spend money, they definitely know as it will give you the worst RNG ever so you will be encouraged to spend more. Appreciate your suggestion. ### 1/5 — Global server has no devs *2026-02-09, version 1.1.3* It seems this server has been abandoned by the developers. ### 1/5 — Nervig und frustrierend! *2026-01-31* Was sich Gravity dabei gedacht hat, dieses Spiel noch einmal so veröffentlichen, ist für mich absolut nicht nachvollziehbar. Das Spiel wirkt vorne und hinten nicht durchdacht. Einen echten Handel gibt es praktisch nicht: Man ist sehr schnell auf Level 110, danach geht es erst einmal nicht weiter. Items lassen sich schlecht bis gar nicht verkaufen und alternative Einnahmequellen für Geld existieren kaum. Die Quests sind eine absolute Unverschämtheit. Es gibt keinerlei sinnvolles Questdesign – man klickt hier, klickt dort und wird permanent quer über die komplette Map geschickt. Teilweise rennt man fünf- oder sechsmal von rechts nach links, nur um einen einzigen Satz mit einem NPC zu wechseln und anschließend wieder zurückzulaufen. Das ist weder spannend noch zeitgemäß, sondern einfach nur frustrierend. In einer großen, aktiven Gilde mag das Spiel vielleicht noch einigermaßen Spaß machen. Hat man daran jedoch kein großes Interesse, ist man komplett verloren. Infelizmente, os desenvolvedores não escutam a comunidade. Fazem lambança atrás de lambança, sempre prejudicando o jogado. Deixaram dezembro sem eventos por conta de um evento Collab fracassado acabando antes do prazo, que acabou com cartas exclusivas que quase ninguém conseguiu ter acesso. E agora estão matando o jogo para a comunidade da América Latina, alterando o horário das guerras arbitrariamente, mesmo quando a grande maioria da comunidade pediu diversas vezes para não alterarem, de forma que fica impossível para jogadores da América Latina participarem das guerras. In the last 2–3 months alone, you’ve hit new levels of incompetence. The SEA 6-6 team couldn’t even compete, and instead of fixing your mess, you deleted their team name like nothing happened. Then this collab event—you suddenly announce it will end two weeks early, and your “compensation” is the most pathetic pile of trash I’ve ever seen in any game. At the very least, you should’ve given players a selectable MVP/Mini card like Moonlight or Smokie, but no—you went with the cheapest, laziest excuse of a reward possible. I’ve been putting up with your failures for long enough, waiting for actual fixes, hoping this game might improve, but I’m done. I’m leaving. Your development team is a complete disaster—unprofessional, careless, and absolutely clueless. And the funniest part? I’ve been trying to pull a Smokie card from the market for three damn months, and I still don’t have one. All of a sudden it says I’m suspended for 10+yrs. Not sure what the issue is since I play on my own at a pretty slow pace. Tried to ask what specifically banned for but given such broad/generic response. I’ve contacted customer support, generic response like I said. Whether you spend or not, the game devs doesn‘t listen to it‘s players needs, rather implement game updates that requires you to spend money even though it’s a „zeny only server“. If you‘re f2p, you would have to consider grinding every single day for at least 40 years (only an exaggeration but u know what i mean) in order to keep up with game content. Drop chances are too low in the game, if you need to progress faster you would have to pay real money. Recently they even reduced channels in the map, which made everything so crowded that it took me 12 hours to finish offline combat! Thank you. ### 1/5 — Love this version of RO, BUT they just ruined it *2026-06-19, version 1.1.7* After the recent update, they removed all the different channels you can play on, now all players are forced into 2 channels which means if you're not a whale, you'll NEVER get to MVP a Boss or Mini anymore. Too many whales running around 1 shorting all the bosses even if you get there first they get the loot. I used to play on a higher channel so I could at least have 1/10000 chance to get an MVP or mini card. ### 1/5 — Current patch world line merge ruined it. *2026-06-18, version 1.1.7* Obviously they cut cost and merged everything into 4 channels. Now it requires people to be on all day camping MVP/ Mini spawns just to get their daily 5/10 kills. Everyone is afk farming in the same spots so melee builds won’t be able to compete. Imagine over 100 range classes farming the same mob spawns. A very dumb 0 IQ decision merging all servers into 4. When they coulda just isolated the 4 channels for any GVG/WOE content if they just wanted more competition. However with time it became extremely unbalanced, with 2 overpowered classes that can complete all the content in the game with ease while the rest are almost useless. They marketed themselves as a less pay to win version but it’s not the case. After some months the gap between the players who heavily invested money (whales) and the rest of the player base is huge. During pvp content one whale is able to wipe an entire guild by themselves. I originally gave the game 1 star because it felt like the developers weren’t listening to player feedback. However, the recent update added more MVP channels, making the game much more enjoyable for casual players like me who don’t want to compete with hardcore players for every boss. I really appreciate that the developers listened to the community and made this positive change. It’s great to see player feedback leading to real improvements. It feels like the original RO game in terms of the job classes, skills and mechanics. I love the way the character pauses for 5ms when got hit by attacks. All other RO games just pop up red HP numbers. That's the core reason to have the skill "endure". It doesn't simplify the skills much. The storyline is a bit boring but I have went over most of it. Buying everything using Zeny is great too.
