I would pay $10 a month for this if it worked! However, there is no way to contact the developer so I am writing this in the comments. The app downloads. Period. It does not open. I haven’t had the ability to see anything at all. This is a review of the app and developer. NOT about Raiden Storm. I hope this gets fixed and the developer responds to comments. ### 1/5 — Customer Service did not respond! *2023-06-24* I wanted to use this app so much because I like and follow them! However it has not worked since I installed it on my Apple phone and every attempt I made through email to contact them was never answered! I paid my subscription of $5.00 but no one contacted me to help me so I cancelled the upcoming payments. Hoping they get it figured out cause I would love to use it! ### 1/5 — App does not work on IPhone *2023-06-21* ZERO STARS I selected zones and all I see is “no new notifications”. ALSO there is no way to contact the developer so I will just put my comment in reviews!! Cancelling if I don’t get a response! Update! I get no response from this guy. This app is a fraud. The only way for me to make it work after it crashes is to delete and reinstall the app. So if you are ok with that and typing in your email and password every time you want to check for updates then this might be ok for you. ### 1/5 — Still does not work *2023-12-15* This app is still garbage. The app version history shows that it hasn’t been updated for a month so I don’t know why someone said it is fixed in the reviews. Probably Kevin Martin lying again to boost his poor ratings. Seriously though… the app is garbage. Don’t waste money subscribing to the service - updates come AFTER the National Weather Service sends them out. Also - the uncredentialed “weatherman” berates people in private chat messages - telling women they belong in the kitchen and he’s superior to women. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work… at all *2023-12-14* It just has a star up screen and feeezes every time ### 1/5 — Good Luck! *2023-11-17* App was not useful at all. Cancelled in September and was still charged. Emailed in October to please stop charging my PayPal account. No response. Guess what I was charged again today. Don’t do it … do not get the app and if you do good luck cancelling. I have now filed a complaint with Apple . Unbelievable I have never had this issue with an app. ### 1/5 — No luck with this app on my iPhone *2023-11-14* I downloaded the app to my iPhone 12. Disappointing ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2023-09-18* I had high hopes for this however it doesn’t work at all. I cancelled my subscription after getting no alerts despite getting hit with nasty storms. I received alerts for the NWS though. Cancelled my subscription last month, however I was still charged by PayPal today. ### 1/5 — Does absolutely NOTHING *2023-08-23* Wanted to support this weather service and installed this app as suggested from their ad. In one week no notices of any kind despite having several areas selected. Meanwhile we had a tornado warning and major tropical storm hit. Two messages through app are unanswered. Im pulling the plug on this one- don't waste your time or money. ## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — It’ll keep you safe, quirks resolved *2023-12-06* There used to be a few quirks, which appear to have been resolved including app freeze, crash, logging me out of the app. These no longer occur. If you are looking for an app that tells you the temperature only, this isn’t it as this serves a different purpose. This app contains valuable information about upcoming storm patterns that will keep you safe, if heeded. Advance knowledge of upcoming storms is crucial to weather preparedness. ### 5/5 — Improved and working now *2023-12-06* For the critical weather this is the app! If you want temperature go somewhere else. I had problems with the earlier version as many people did. It has been improved so I can stay logged in and now I’m happy to recommend others. ### 4/5 — Updated Feb 24 *2024-02-13* Recent updates seem to have fixed the freeze on load issues i was experiencing in the past. Notifications coming thru now. I would love to see the subscription system moved off Paypal in into the native apple system and maybe an annual option added as well. ### 4/5 — I’m glad to have this app *2024-02-13* I like having the weather notifications from this app. They are usually way ahead of other weather services and accurate. I can count on his predictions and appreciate the early heads up for planning purposes. The app used to have the glitches noted in another review but I haven’t experienced those in quite awhile. It’s a keeper. ### 3/5 — Just not functional *2024-03-18* His info is spot on and I rely on it over all other weather sources. The app is by far the worst I have ever used. I basically have to delete it and reinstall anytime there is an alert. Not his fault his developer doesn’t know what they are doing, but the app is pretty much useless. ### 3/5 — Super Buggy *2024-03-06* I’m a fan of his super accurate weather predictions on Facebook and wanted to support him with the app sub, but it *mostly* never works. I’ll get a notification, but then the app won’t open. Since I’ve had it, it’s only worked a few times and even then, the comments were shut off, so I couldn’t ask questions. I’ll keep for a bit, it in hope that it improves, but I ultimately have to go to Facebook to read his predictions 😐 ### 3/5 — Can’t get app to open *2023-07-23* I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and no luck with app opening. I get weather alert notifications, however, when I try to view them the app just stays on the blue screen. Please help ### 2/5 — Accurate westher *2024-03-31* Kevin is very accurate with his forecasts however, the app used for us that pay monthly is awful.
