## What is Rain Check?

Rain Check reads your calendar and checks the forecast where each plan happens — then tells you which one rain, wind or heat will ruin, in time to move it.

Every weather app answers "what's the weather?" and leaves you to work out what it means for your week. Rain Check does the second half. It looks at your real events, scores each one against the forecast at that event's own address for its own hour, and gives you one sentence: which plan is at risk, when, and what to do about it.

FREE — TODAY, EVERY EVENT
Today's verdict for every event on your calendar, checked at the venue. Pre-event heads-ups, severe-weather alerts, a Sunday-evening look at the week ahead, Home Screen widgets, and your choice of how cautious to be. No trial, no account, no ads.

RAIN CHECK PREMIUM — THE FULL 10 DAYS
One purchase unlocks:
- The 10-day risk check, so a wet Saturday shows up on Tuesday, not Friday
- One-tap reschedule: Rain Check finds the best open slot and moves the event on your calendar, with 15 seconds to undo
- Trip mode: the outlook where you're going, and every event checked there
- Air quality at each venue (smoke-level readings are always free)

$59.99 once, forever. No trial, no subscription, no hidden tiers.

CHECKED WHERE IT HAPPENS
Your 2 PM soccer game and your 6 PM patio dinner aren't in the same place, so they shouldn't get the same forecast. Each event is scored at its own location, not at wherever your phone happens to be.

THE DAY, DRAWN AS A SKY
Today opens on a sky that changes with the hour and a ribbon of the day's weather with your events set into it. Drag across the ribbon and the sky, the temperature and the reading move with your finger — rain under an event is the verdict, drawn.

ONE SENTENCE, NOT A DASHBOARD
"Rain likely 4–7 PM at Lincoln Park — overlaps the 5 PM soccer practice." That's the whole answer. Tap it to move the event, keep it and get reminded, or see that hour on the board.

BUILT FOR OUTDOOR PLANS
Hikes, photoshoots, youth games, market booths, group runs, weddings: Rain Check recognizes outdoor-shaped events and judges them the way an indoor lunch never needs to be judged — for rain, storms, snow, wind, heat and cold.

YOU SET THE BAR
Relaxed, Standard or Cautious — real thresholds, and a live count of how many of your own events each preset would flag.

A HEADS-UP, RARELY
At most one notification a day, only when a plan is actually at risk, timed before the decision point. Extreme alerts always come through.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your calendar never leaves your phone. Forecasts come from Apple Weather. Air-quality checks (Premium) send your event's approximate location to our own server, which looks it up with a third-party air-quality provider and briefly caches the result — never your calendar, never your identity. No account, no sign-in, no ads, no tracking.
