I thought it was because I had an old phone but recently got a new one and it still doesn't even open any of the "art" features anymore - only filters/overlays. Pretty lame for what used to be a really cool app. Don't bother paying for it because you won't get anymore features. ### 3/5 — My app quit working *2022-11-10, version 2.24* Not sure what is going on, app is not working. This app is exactly what you’re looking for but it constantly crashes in the middle of editing photos. There’s lots of options which is great, but I can’t scroll without it bugging out and it makes it hard to navigate. It also doesn’t pick up a lot of photos from my camera roll. The ones that I want to edit don’t even show up in the app. I even try waiting a while and screenshooting them again so I have multiples of the same photo, and I still can’t see them. So I haven’t been able to use it and I paid a good amount to have some cool photos. I was excited but am really disappointed. UPDATE: Kate immediately reached out and helped me in troubleshooting the issues. She very clearly cares about her users and is putting in work towards constantly improving her app. I was able to get a couple things resolved, overall it is usable for me now and that’s what I was looking for. Thank you again for your patience, Kate **Developer response:** Hi! Sorry you're having a rough go of it... Let me help you out. So a few things. 1) Regarding filters: They preview in a specific blend mode on your image b/c of the blend mode (which works best for rainbows), the filters are not always visible on your background image, for the most part filters won't appear on really light or really dark backgrounds. Which is why I added a second blending option. It's called GLOW. If you double tap on the filter you will see an editing screen - on the right there's a rainbow icon called glow - tap to turn it on or off - it totally "Ups" the filter vibrancy. You can reduce effect with the toggle bar. As for photos not showing up. It could be a couple of things. Are these photos you took with your phone? Or are they RAW images? My app only takes JPEG and PNG files. Also I really don't recommend screen shotting b/c it shrinks the image and will degrade the resolution a lot. I want you to enjoy my app!! There's a guide to filters from the home screen - just tap the main image to access it - if you can message me thru the app - I can work with you on more details. I went back to the App Store and purchased the deluxe version and it doesn’t work either. It does the exact same thing that the regular version did. None of my other photo editing apps do this. I have an updated phone, and plenty of storage. I updated the app to see if that would help, but it’s now crashed on unsaved designs 9 times!!! And I have lost all but 2 of the photos I'm editing due to the app crashing. It's frustrating! I have both the deluxe app and the normal version. I’ve also written a review for the Deluxe version. The app is absolutely incredible. The Pre made art work, filters, artwork you can add on is just divine! I have wasted so much money on other apps and the whole time I could have been using this! It’s honestly amazing and I love using it to create and edit gorgeous content for my social media. I’d pay much more for this app - you really are underselling yourselves as it’s 1 million times better than any of the other apps I’ve used!! Thanks so much for creating such a great app - it’s clear that whoever made it is passionate about great content and beautiful art work and great care and detail has gone into it.
