I work in a noisy office, so I also use it to help distract me from the chatter when I have to focus. I have always used the free version and never had any issues. You get three controls for rain intensity, bird sounds and thunder. You can turn them up or down as you please. It may be a con to some but I like how the sounds keep playing in the background even if you close the app. I enjoy listening music with the rain sounds on as well and it works great for me. The sound still goes through the phone speakers. It works fine with Bluetooth but Apple has a better option called airplay which I can use with smart speakers and my airport express. Doesn’t work.
