Overall it’s been a decent app, and has improved greatly over this past two years. One major problem I have is there’s no way to HIDE previous bank accounts, even with a long time zero balance. I can see where this list could eventually become too much to navigate and I’ll cancel my account, and decide if it’s worth creating a new account or go somewhere else. I’m shocked that such an institution can’t have a normal working app. Can’t save your login. The options are a joke. Tons of bugs. I’m shocked. It’s too bad. UPDATE: you want more details ? Go look at Wealthfront and other similar apps. For one super basic thing, login will not allow me to save my login info to my device for future use of the app. Every bank and non bank app I have does. You want more feedback about the horrible functions of your app, you can hire me. My time is $ ### 1/5 — Do not use Raisin - can not move my money *2026-01-29, version 3.27.0* Despite multiple attempts to move my money and several phone calls, including one with a supervisor, I cannot move my money from my cash account into my savings account. I’m taking all my money out. Be careful This is an update after the developers response. After waiting multiple days for a response from the supervisor I spoke with, I called again and complained that I had called on Thursday and it was now Tuesday and no resolution or response. The supervisor stated “I was working with our technical team to investigate the issue you encountered. Unfortunately, we were unable to identify a clear cause or resolution within that timeframe, which is why I did not have an update …” I moved my money out. ### 1/5 — Do not use Raisin - can not move my money *2026-01-23* Despite multiple attempts to move my money and several phone calls, including one with a supervisor, I cannot move my money from my cash account into my savings account. The user experience and functionality feels very dated, poorly designed and often useless. Worst financial app I have in my portfolio. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2025-11-25, version 3.18.0* Support is incredibly slow they never answer the phone and the app hasn’t worked in days ### 2/5 — Used to be great - now mediocre *2025-11-25, version 3.18.0* Used to bank with Raisin frequently, now I’ve moved my money elsewhere. Here’s some reasons why: - Their 2FA login prompt claims they “only require authentication every 7 days”, but it asks for authentication every single time I log in, even minutes apart. If you want to require 2FA for each and every login, that’s fine, but stop trying to pretend like you’re doing me a favor by “only requiring 2FA every 7 days” when that’s clearly not how your system even works. - Cash account. They used to let you transfer money in and out of your bank account directly to fund your Raisin account, but they recently added another hurdle which makes your money go through an unnecessary Raisin-owned checking account which does NOT earn interest. This Raisin checking account is subject to the same slow ACH transfer speeds, so now your money takes double the amount of time it used to in order to actually get it where you want to go. Again, they claim this is for your benefit, and that’s the annoying part - Raisin knows this is simply an annoyance to real customers when they keep the interest for your money since it’s in their checking account, but they claim it’s “better for you like this.” Stop. It’s not better, and you know it. Be honest about your practices and maybe you might start getting better reviews. ### 1/5 — Can’t log in *2025-11-17, version 3.16.0* I was able to login create an account and make a deposit. Since I made my deposit, I have not been able to login again either on the app or on the website via cell phone. This does not inspire a lot of confidence in Raisin banking. If I could login, I would consider her taking all my money and running away ### 1/5 — Very Poor Customer Experience *2025-10-14, version 3.14.0* Setup an account and cannot log back in. I tried resetting my password numerous times ( even though I knew my old password) and still can’t login. If you can do simple things like resetting passwords am struggling to understand how you expect me to trust you with my money. ### 1/5 — Boo AI chatbot, booo *2025-09-23, version 3.11.0* Get the AI garbage out of your app. Be better than all the others out there. ### 2/5 — Frustrating *2025-08-19, version 3.6.0* Raisin's app doesn't function like a banking app. Raisin is not a bank but you should be able to change your email or your connected external accounts through the app and be done. Instead you have to go through their website and send a request that needs to be reviewed by customer service to get approved. With the back and forth this can take +3 business days, over half a week. It's ridiculous. Raisin should do all this via 2FA. I hate it. ### 1/5 — Beyond frustrating and concerning *2025-07-30, version 2.11.0* I’ve only been on this platform for about 4 days—already the waiting and waiting to see that any movement of money has been made makes this note worth it. Also there’s no confirmation that money has even been moved, the pending function doesn’t work, and they don’t send notifications if there’s been movement. I should’ve read the multiple horrible reviews before I started. The cash account was never mentioned until I had to transfer more money in and now it’s an absolute pain. Really second guessing if I even want to use this company at all ### 1/5 — Worst experience *2026-07-31, version 4.8.0* Worst banking and even worse app. This app takes you back to 80’s with its features- Raisin is even worse- You can only add 1 external account for money transfer - changing the account is not possible on app - Connect with customer care, they will send you several links to download statement of new account, separate link for old account statement and link to share your license and take selfies - all that to move your own money and takes week - During all that , i couldnt login to my app for week - There may be bad banking experiences but none can match Raisin ### 1/5 — These guys make it VERY difficult to withdraw money. *2026-06-16, version 4.4.0* For some people, the added security may be a major advantage of Raisin, but I found the difficulty of getting money out of my account to be unacceptably difficult. To link Raisin to my Chase account, I had to send them lengthy bank statements, electronically have my face scanned, upload my driver's license, and at one point their customer service department was talking about making me go to a notary public. Raisin will invade your privacy and waste a LOT of your time. Use Public instead: much better app, much better customer service. Seriously, there's no good reason to choose Raisin over Public. ### 1/5 — To get your attention. YIKES *2026-06-05, version 4.4.0* The “new” UI is TERRIBLE. Why can’t I see all the transactions in the app in one screen like I used to? Why do I have to scroll to the right to do this? It’s been weeks and this hasn’t been fixed. It’s so irritating. I thought this update was supposed to make things BETTER? How did you make it WORSE? Please fix. Thanks. Update: the DevTeam emailed me back, so we shall wait to see what kind of UI improvement is unveiled in a future update. For now it’s easier to use the mobile web browser. ### 1/5 — my money !? *2026-05-25, version 4.4.0* i’ve never had to write a bad review or any review at that matter because i’m just not that kind of person. but when it comes to my money it is very frustrating that i’ve called and emailed and get no response. my money has not transferred into my bank account after 3 days and i really need it. do NOT download this app if you want your money safe. ### 1/5 — Blocked on login *2026-05-24, version 4.4.0* I tried using the app instead of going to the website on the browser, when I successfully logged in with email and password it began the two-step verification process and automatically used a previous code generated from the website, it showed a red X saying incorrect and I tried again this time with the correct verification and it still showed another X I then waited to resend it sends me another code I use it then it goes to the login screen saying I’m blocked. Please fix your app! ### 1/5 — Beginning to think this company is a fraud *2026-05-01, version 4.3.1* Went through the rigmarole to open an account with them. Most of it the same KYC requirements banks adhere to. BUT- then they lock your account and want “more verification.” They want a photo of you with your ID. They don’t have a clue what is done with that highly sensitive biometric BUT they assure you it’s protected, yadda yadda. Already reeled in and having given them a substantial amount of money in the initial process, I gave them that data. BUT THEN- somehow this company wants MORE “verification.” Without any reason given for why what they already have (much more than any Bank I’ve dealt with in 6 decades), they want an actual unredacted bank PDF of my funding bank’s complete statement! Account numbers, amounts, and way more other “honeypot” information. I guess I should just trust them because their UT based CSRs seem to make their ridiculous delays seem like routine checks. I actually gave them that full, sensitive copy of my bank statement, included my money to the penny, both account numbers, and more. And then, this ridiculous company EMAILED ME THAT SENSITIVE INFORMATION FOR THE WORLD TO SEE! My full bank statement including account numbers and balances is now in the PUBLIC DOMAIN thanks to their incompetence. And to top it off, their CSRs just brushed off my concerns like I was too sensitive. Ugh. I was told they gave all they need, and some security guy needs to look it over and finally unlock the account. Meanwhile, I see they have already TAKEN the substantial initial funding from my bank and now it’s locked in this “Raisin” account which they are still locking me out of- even to view! Essentially they have stolen my money, are preventing me from accessing or even seeing it, and pretending there is some sort of major “verification” problem they have to get through. To top it off, I just received a ridiculous email from their CSR team claiming they are waiting for something from ME to “complete” their verification. Unbelievable. At this point I’m ready to report their withdrawal from my bank as fraud, and also start reaching out to the NY Attorney General regarding what is seeming more and more like constructive fraud. ### 1/5 — Going in the wrong direction *2026-04-07, version 4.0.1* Your latest update is frustratingly bad. You’re showing less detail with more clicks and swipes required to get to the same information that was easily available at a glance with no additional searching or input. Why would you add more complications? This is the number one rule of app development- don’t make it worse. Also, now the numerals are squished together in difficult to read font with vast stretches of white space that is truly awful in terms of design and eye strain when using the app. On top of all of these things, navigation is still unusually and painfully slow. Time is money and your company doesn’t seem to respect either. Ironic. ### 1/5 — Useless App *2026-04-03, version 3.30.0* I mistakenly scheduled a transfer. There is no way to cancel the transaction. HOW DO YOU HAVE A BANK WHERE YOU CAN’T CANCEL A TRANSACTION!? There’s no way to cancel the transaction online, so I called customer service. The rep I called said there’s no way to cancel the transaction on his side either. Seriously!? So my other bank initiated a transfer that I couldn’t fund, and I get hit with an NSF fee because I couldn’t cancel the transaction. That’s stupid! I will be closing my account. If you can schedule a transfer online, you need to be able to cancel it online. ### 1/5 — Too Slow *2026-02-06, version 3.27.0* Transfer processing time was much longer than expected, which made liquidity management difficult. Interest rates were also lower than competitors. I’m currently using the high yield savings account and have no problem moving money in or out of it. They offer plenty of options for savings and also offer joint accounts. Love this app!!! PS when you’re my age you have to have plenty of baskets for your eggs!!! ### 5/5 — No Complaints *2026-05-21, version 4.4.0* The app works fine. I can see the balance of my account and navigating to the bank portal only takes a couple taps. My experience with Raisin has been positive so far. However the saving rates more than make up for it. Make sure you choose a bank that is FDIC insured. Also I love that you can just switch bank accounts in the app very easily and move your money around. Just wish it was fast to limit down time in between accounts and deposits ### 5/5 — Competitive market rates *2025-06-05, version 2.11.0* Some people have argued to research a high yield savings account oneself. However, the reason I still use Raisin is that they have very competitive market rates for their high yield savings accounts. When the bank I had been keeping money in lowered their interest rate, I literally just looked for a new one with a higher interest rate, sorted the available banks from highest to lowest interest, and picked the one that was doing the best, and moved my money over. Yes, it takes 1-2 business days for processing, rather than instantaneous like your Bank of America down on Main Street. No, that does not make it a scam, as that small wait is commercially reasonable. The competitive market rates Raisin provides make me not have to research for myself the best high yield savings bank. It researches them for me, I can sort highest to lowest, and I can shift my money over whenever one that I’ve been using declines below what I’m comfortable with. This is a valuable product. If it ever becomes not worth it, then I’d simply stop and use a different service, but until then, I’ll stay with Raisin. This is just business. ### 5/5 — Much easier than other online investment accounts! *2025-04-07, version 2.11.0* I find this app the best I’ve tried out there. I can move funds directly from my bank account into either a new account that I want to set up or into an existing account. You do have to make the transaction in a way so that your deposit goes directly (like the next business day) into an account of your choosing and bypass the “cash account”. Just start the transaction from the account you want to deposit into (or withdraw) and from that specific account, click on the deposit or withdrawal buttons and you can make the transaction from there. If you start on your “home” page, it will default to your cash account. I have opened and closed multiple CD’s and HYSAs and have had no issues. Definitely has options for a higher ROI than locally or on other online banks. I just closed out a CD at another company and will transfer the funds to Raisin for my financial planning. ### 5/5 — They do exactly what they say they do! *2025-04-03, version 2.10.0* I saved my money for 6 months and it gained interest.. yes it took a business day to withdraw but it was free and I knew that because I didn’t dump thousands in without a test run. Yes the interest drops because the market fluctuates, Apple Card is currently 3.8%.
