Just keeps saying searching for systems over and over ### 1/5 — Why have you changed the look? *2022-08-18, version 4.0.1* I’ve been using the Rako app for years now, and loved it. It was always lighting quick and simple to use, with a familiar look due to the custom images for each room icon. To my dismay, I opened the app just now to use it and find that the style of the app has completely changed and looks terrible now by comparison. The app feels cheap and nasty to navigate and tomorrow I’m calling my Control4 dealer to get a quote on replacing the lot. I was already speaking to them about renewing the Rako keypads for newer versions, but after this I want it all gone. Rako have had the last of my money, and it’s a shame because their products have never let me down and I’ve recommended them to many. ### 1/5 — Stopped working here too *2022-06-09, version 3.7.3* Was working fine, don’t use it too often but when I went to turn on holiday mode it’s just constantly saying looking for system. Not good ### 1/5 — Stopped working after latest update *2022-05-31, version 3.7.3* Simply stopped working after the latest update 3mo ago.. Diagnostics find the bridge, but when trying to use the app just get a pop up saying the app is not connected to the network.. Introducing this bug once is not great, but twice? The app was/is pretty basic, but at least it worked before. What was wrong with the previous version? ### 1/5 — New App - Fail *2022-08-21, version 4.0.1* Came home from holiday to find new app 4.0.1 which looks clumsy on an iPhone, custom photo icons disappeared, buttons too big and now need to scroll. What used to be a clear, well laid out interface is now a complete mess. I have also lost all of my photos attached to the rooms. On my iPad mini the channel interface, in particular, is terrible. (thanks Ben) A very quick response. I had installed a Mesh wifi. And that was causing the problem (now fixed). Great customer service. This was my problem (below) “Hi, my Rako App has stopped working. It displays “Searching for Systems…” forever. I’ve rebooted the phone but still has the same message. Just checked and it’s not working on my iPad either. Strangely it still works on the swipe right from the Lock Screen, but I can’t adjust the channels from there. All of the light switches work ok. Can you please advise ASAP if this is an App or hardware fault. Apple Watch app...80% of the time it will just say “Loading Pls Wait” indefinitely (and thats on Apple Watch 5 series, so not a hardware issue). For the cost of the Rako hardware, their software could at least be dependable on all devices.
