## What is Rally?

Rally is the easiest way to actually DO the things you keep screenshotting.

A curated feed of the best of New York — concerts, rooftops, markets, films, day trips, restaurants — refreshed every week by people who actually go. No accounts needed to look around.

Found something good? Make it a plan in two taps. Friends RSVP with one — no app required on their side. Every plan gets its own group chat with polls, photos, location sharing, and an expense splitter for the bill.

• Browse: a hand-picked NYC feed, not an algorithm dump
• Plan: date, place, capacity, reminders — done in seconds
• Rally: one-tap RSVPs, guest links for friends without the app
• Chat: the plan and the group chat are the same thing
• Split: who owes what, settled in the same thread

Free, made in NYC.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.7 — 2026-08-21

Chat is smoother, messages settle in instead of jumping, reactions sit on the bubble, and shared locations show the place name rather than "Google Maps". Fixed evening plans showing as morning times, a Pay button that could get stuck, and a sign-in screen that did not explicitly acknowledged existing users.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-08-19

Rally now wears its name. Say hi to the new Discover header, with a little subway nod to NYC.

Big plans stay friendly. When a plan grows past 25 people, the chat goes quiet on its own so nobody's phone melts, and host updates still reach everyone. Your notification choices now live right inside the chat.

Finished plans act finished. A night that already happened stops asking for RSVPs.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-14

Multi-stop plans are here. Dinner, then drinks, then dancing, all in one
plan, stop by stop. Every stop wears its own little icon and time, so the
whole night reads at a glance and everyone can see where the group is
headed next.

Also in this version:

- The host's note has its own place on the plan now, signed, with links
  you can tap
- Plans that run past midnight know they end tomorrow
- Add to calendar books the whole night, not just the first couple of hours
- Two fingers move the map, one scrolls the page
- Clearer place search when you're picking where to go
- A gentler ask about notifications: say "not now" and we mean it
- Plenty of small repairs across invites, the chat, and the guest page

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-06

Rally just got a big update:

- Signing up is now one page. Photo, name, neighborhood,
and a friend or two, then you're in.
- Everyone has their own color, the same one everywhere
  you see them.
- Split a bill with anyone, including friends who aren't
  on Rally yet.
- Share a group with a link that opens to a real page.
- Addresses open your map app, plus a lot of small fixes
  to chat and plans.
