## What is RallyMate?

Find your next hitting partner in minutes.

RallyMate connects racket sports players near you, at your level, so you spend less time looking for a game and more time on court. Whether you play tennis, badminton, table tennis, squash, padel or pickleball, your next rally starts here.

FIND PLAYERS AT YOUR LEVEL
Browse players nearby with a compatibility score based on your level, availability and playing style. No more turning up to a match that is far too easy or completely out of your depth.

KNOW YOUR LEVEL
Not sure how good you are? Take a quick 10-question quiz tuned to your sport, or upload a short video and let our AI coach assess your technique. You get a level rating, your strengths, what to work on, and a personal practice plan you can take to your next session.

SIX RACKET SPORTS, ONE APP
Tennis, badminton, table tennis, squash, padel and pickleball. Pick the sports you play and filter the whole app to just those, with a separate level tracked for each one.

FIND COURTS NEAR YOU
Search real courts around you with ratings, directions, and links to book or call the venue. Public courts, clubs and academies.

ORGANISE MATCHES PROPERLY
Propose a match, agree a time, and confirm it in your calendar. Get a reminder before you play. Add it to your phone calendar in one tap.

OPEN SESSIONS AND LADDERS
Post an open session when you want a hit and let players nearby join. Climb competitive ladders filtered by sport, level, age group and gender.

RALLY PARTNERS
Send partner requests to players you enjoy playing with and keep your regular hitting partners in one place.

BUILT FOR SAFETY
Your exact location is never shared, only your general area. Your date of birth stays private; other players only see an age band. Report and block tools are on every profile and chat. Verified badges, phone verification and admin moderation help keep the community genuine. Juniors get extra protections, including similar-age matching and guardian match notifications.

MADE BY THE TENNIS LAB
RallyMate is built by The Tennis Lab, a student-led coaching and community initiative making racket sports accessible, friendly and community-driven across Dubai and India.

Free to join. No credit card needed.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.11 — 2026-09-05

Faster, and a few things that were quietly getting in the way.

SPEED
RallyMate now runs on servers in the same city as its database. Screens
open in a fraction of the time they used to, and tapping a tab shows the
new page straight away instead of pausing on the old one.

FINDING PLAYERS
Distances are now measured from where you actually are, not from wherever
you last set your location. If your profile says one area but you are
somewhere else, RallyMate says so and offers the right name in one tap.
Your profile only changes if you choose it.

MESSAGES
Your message appears the moment you send it instead of waiting for the
network. If one fails to send it stays on screen so you can tap to try
again, rather than disappearing. Conversations now show times and day
separators.

CALENDAR
A new month view shows your matches at a glance. Proposing a match now
lets you search for a player by name.

COURTS
The directory now includes venues The Tennis Lab adds by hand, the clubs
and academies Google does not list, sorted by distance alongside
everything else.

ALSO
A new RallyMate launch screen, clearer text on small labels, bigger touch
targets, and a number of accessibility fixes.

### 1.10 — 2026-08-21

A fresh new look, and notifications.

• A brand new light design that is easier to read and quicker to scan
• Turn on notifications to hear about new messages and match requests, even when RallyMate is closed
• Signing up is shorter, six steps instead of nine
• Players and courts near you are more accurate, wherever you are
• Bigger buttons, clearer sport icons, and filters you can collapse
• Faster, tidier screens throughout

### 1.0 — 2026-08-20
