## What is RallyMate?

RallyMate is the easy way to plan, organize and enjoy multi-day scenic road trips with a group.

Whether you're bringing friends together for a relaxed touring rally across Europe or coordinating a weekend drive, RallyMate keeps everyone on the same route, on schedule and in touch — so the focus stays on the journey and the scenery, not the logistics..

PLAN THE ROUTE
• Build a day-by-day itinerary with stops, hotels, meals and points of interest
• Generate a clear driving route between stops and preview each stage on the map
• Fine-tune the route with your own waypoints

FOLLOW ALONG ON THE ROAD
• A clean, day-by-day "roadbook" everyone can follow
• Interactive map with the full route and every stop
• Animated stage preview so you always know what's coming

STAY TOGETHER
• Group chat for the whole rally, plus private messages
• Share your location, photos and updates along the way
• Organizer announcements for important info

FOR ORGANIZERS
• Create a rally, invite participants with a code, and manage the program
• Approve who joins and keep the group organized

SAFE, RELAXED TOURING
RallyMate is built for leisurely touring and sightseeing — enjoying great roads, good company and beautiful places at a comfortable pace. It is not a racing or speed app.

Bring your group, pick your roads, and make the trip easy to plan and even easier to enjoy.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.3 — 2026-08-14

Tagging someone in a private group no longer suggests people who are not in it. The tag looked like it was delivered, but the person was never notified.
Inviting people to a rally is now for organizers and admins only.
The link for setting up your own trip now says what it is for: driving together to and from an event.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-08-10

Fix for battery drain issues

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-05

Bug fixes

• Follower and following lists on other people's profiles can be opened again
• Opening a driver's profile from the map now fills the screen instead of a small panel
• The Map tab opens faster, and the map now handles far more people sharing their position at once
• Follower counts no longer show zero when the count fails to load
• Posts from people you follow are no longer silently hidden once you follow more than 90
• Your profile now shows when you are not in a team, and takes you straight to creating one
• More of the app is translated into Norwegian

### 1.1 — 2026-07-30

Teams, awards and weather
• Teams: drive under a name, not as individuals. Create one, invite your
crew, or ask to join theirs. Your team shows on your profile and in the
  participant list.
• Awards: vote for Best in Show, Best Spirit and Best Wrap — and for the
most impressive car by its plate.
• Weather on every stop in the day programme, from MET Norway.

Fixes
• The rally page could stay on the previous rally after switching, showing
the wrong programme and organizer tools.
• Invitation links showed the rally alias instead of the invite code.
• Blocking someone now works properly — and they can no longer notify you.
