Even when searching the exact name of an item it will more often than not, show you a completely different item. The, “pay in store” option to scan your QR code now takes 3 button presses (that also take forever to load) and is weird to navigate to. Somehow every update that is pushed makes performance worse and less efficient. ### 2/5 — I really want to like this app… *2026-08-03, version 96.3.0* After the last few updates things have really gone downhill. Creating a list requires extra steps, and when I use it at the store to check off items on the list it removes the sort and puts all items across various categories. (I sort by ascending aisle). Developers need to read some of this feedback and make some descent upgrades to the app! ### 2/5 — Has become almost useless for me *2026-07-22, version 96.2.0* I used to love this app. I used it to manage my shopping list. But lately it has made using the shopping list feature impossible. I could scan the UPC on an item and add it to the shopping list—this was removed a couple of years ago. More recently the shopping list will NOT remove completed items (they seem to go away but come back). When I search for an item (the only way to add something to the list) it sometimes won’t allow me to add it to the list. I think that it’s due to the item being on the (undeletable) completed list. ### 2/5 — Horrible App *2026-07-21, version 96.1.1* The updated Ralphs App is horrible. Email sends Preview this weeks ad, but site will do everything but let you view weekly ad. This has made it difficult to plan shopping so I have started shopping elsewhere ### 4/5 — Generally works, lots of coupons *2026-07-19, version 96.1.1* Biggest issue I have with the app, (and got tipped by Kroger employee about in fact) is that the in-store scanner can’t scan your loyalty ID unless the app is in light mode. Fortunately the app has an override to always be in light mode, but this is a confusing experience to be holding up a code and machine can’t read it. 5 stars is this hiccup is fixed. ### 1/5 — cash back is a scam *2026-07-18, version 96.1.1* they do not honor cash back deals. customer service is awful. ### 1/5 — Can’t sign into account *2026-07-12, version 96.0.0* The Ralph’s app use to work properly but for the last 2 weeks, I am unable to log in. The app says it needs to verify it’s me and offers the prompt to send an email verification to my email. Well, guess what - the email never arrives. I have tried multiple times. I have uninstalled the app and reloaded. Customer service is of no help. Truly unfortunate that Ralph’s is going to lose most of my business especially when it comes to using their digital coupons. Since I can’t log into my account because of whatever stupid glitch this is, I am unable to take advantage of the extra savings through the app. Ralph’s, come on, you can do better. Your prices are already more than other local grocery stores but now with not being able to log in and take advantage of the digital savings plus not being able to do online grocery shopping, I will not be shopping there other than for a quick errand for a last minute item. Me, being one. I used the weekly ad to develop my grocery menu. Guess I'll need to go back to Vons !!! SAD REALLY ### 2/5 — Timed out with "Technical Difficulties" at the register when I tried to use Kroger Pay *2026-07-10, version 96.0.0* I waited a minute for the Kroger Pay QR code to load, with people waiting behind me at the register. I then gave up and paid by credit card. Please make the app show the Kroger Pay QR code even when offline! If there is no connection within two seconds, then put up the QR code ### 3/5 — Love Ralphs, but app sucks. *2026-07-01, version 95.3.0* I love Ralphs! Loyal customer. The app on the other hand is terrible. It lags, and when you press on certain buttons it doesn’t work?! It’s annoying. Please fix. ### 1/5 — Terrible app experience! *2026-07-01, version 95.3.0* Tried to use a digital coupon in store and it made me sign in and verify my email, except the code never sent and i lost out on savings because of it. i tried logging in on the website and it wouldn’t send a verification code to my email, then i tried by downloading the app, and it just gave me error messages when trying to sign in. Then once it started working, despite having verified my account with my phone number it still prompted me to verify my email! Then i came back to the same problem of the verification code not sending. ### 2/5 — Scan & Kroger Pay Buried *2026-07-01, version 95.3.0* Easy to navigate? BS. When trying to checkout takes forever because you have to dig around the app to find the barcode. Even the person at checkout said it's terrible because other customers had same complaint. Why would you essentially hide something you expect people to use often? MAKE IT 1-CLICK & PUT IT AT THE TOP OF THE APP. You'd think "In-Store" would present the member and KrogerPay barcodes but clearly someone on the app dev/marketing team still hasn't figured out yet that seems to be a logical place to put it vs. having to click around the menu, 4 levels deep. smh. ### 1/5 — PRICE GOUGING *2026-06-22, version 95.2.0* Ralph’s has now installed “dynamic” price tags. So prices can change before you get to the register. Prices can go up by time of day or by product demand. Ralph’s had been busted before for mislabeling and other coupon scams. Now we go to Grocery Outlet, Valley Marketplace, Trader Joe’s and Aldi, where the prices are HALF of what Ralph’s corporate greed grabs. That’s not all. By doing this, they’re also eliminating jobs. Prices can be changed by a single person in a corporate office for multiple stores. And that can even be done by AI. Do you want that? I wish I could post pictures here. I just paid NINE bucks for Land-o-Lakes 21 oz butter. Thats NOT gonna happen again! Ralph’s = BIG FAIL. ### 1/5 — Horrible! *2026-06-17, version 95.2.0* This app doesn’t even work… Just says no network connection and my connection is perfect… Pathetic a company this big doesn’t have a properly functioning app and all The latest reviews prove it! ### 1/5 — Save the list? *2026-06-14, version 95.1.0* This is one of the most confusing and poorly designed apps I’ve ever used for online shopping. They have a “Save List” option under every product, but after spending 10 minutes building a list, you come back and find your cart is empty. Total waste of time. It’s been like that for a month. I’ve tried deleting the app, clearing the cache, signing on online, etc. I don’t even want to shop without clipping the coupons that used to be the best part ### 1/5 — Is it on purpose?... *2026-08-12* I would love to know who created the layout here so that I could ask them WTH they were thinking. Like was this on purpose is there some like nefarious corporate manipulation reasoning behind why it takes 20 steps to find which category you want to shop in? Why is that not on the homepage? Every other grocery store has a menu to navigate or the categories you can shop such as baking, meats, produce... why is it hidden behind three pages scrolling and then when you finally get to the selected category you can't see all the products you can't filter it you can't narrow it down and then the way that the search feature is made, it returns results that have nothing to do with what you're looking for and everything to do with what they need to sell to you because somebody paid for invasive marketing. I shop multiple times a week at Ralph's, every time I've tried to use this app it's complete utter garbage and I can't find anything that I'm looking for. I don't know how anybody can give this thing a positive review, it's so bad. It’s like an unwanted solicitor who refuses to leave! After this I will NEVER add another grocery app to my device again. Too much trouble for a discount. I can no longer easily locate Kroger Pay, nor does the location service work when I’m shopping my list in person; it’s stuck on one store but I often shop at two different stores. (And yes, location detection is on.) I can’t find anywhere in the app to even select my favorite store. The changes you’ve made are so disappointing; every feature I use is so much harder to navigate now. I have to call, they check my account, and after verifying all my information, they tell me there are no issues or holds, and I need to wait fifteen minutes and try again. It is a huge waste of time to have to go through all of that every time I need an order delivered, only to have to go in person anyway.
