## What is Ram Kripa?

Ram Kripa is the official companion app for Raam Kripa Mandir in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.

Do your seva from anywhere:

• Yagya / Havan — request a yagya, add your sankalp details (name, gotra, family), and get a confirmation code.
• Ram Naam books — reserve a Ram Naam book online, then collect it at the temple. Fill it, return it, and watch the temple's collective Ram Naam count grow.
• Temple count — follow the community milestone of completed Ram Naam books.

Sign in simply with your phone number and an OTP. Large text and clear buttons make it easy for everyone, including elder devotees.

No payments, no ads. Just seva, made simpler.

Events
• The Events section and the home screen now show the temple's live event list, so new occasions appear without waiting for an app update.
• Album photos stay attached when an event is renamed or edited.

Timings
• "Open now" and "Next aarti" follow India time wherever you are.

For temple staff
• Add or edit events and the daily schedule with a photo straight from your phone.
• Send an announcement to all devotees from Settings.
• A save can no longer overwrite events someone else just changed — the app asks you to reload instead.

### 1.0.10 — 2026-08-03

Staying signed in

Some devotees were being signed out at random — a tap would land you back on the login screen for no reason. Several separate causes have now been fixed, in the app and on the temple's server, so signing out is once again something only you do.

Photos and videos

The sound button on a Feed video is a real button now. Videos still start silent, the way they do elsewhere, but there is finally something visible to tap to turn the sound on. The play, sound and open-in-Instagram controls are drawn cleanly over the picture instead of appearing as coloured stickers.

For temple staff

Settings lived in two places that quietly disagreed with each other, so whichever screen you saved from, the other one showed you old values. There is one Settings screen now. Your profile page is Account — password, sign out, sending an announcement, and the Anna Kshetra switch.

The Scan tab is now Verify and Requests side by side. The approval queue used to sit below the scanner where nobody scrolled to it; it has its own tab, counting both kinds of request together.

Yagya slots: creating a slot or a ritual type now opens as its own screen with the Save button always in reach, instead of a form unfolding in the middle of the page and pushing the calendar out of view. A new slot opens on the day you were already looking at.

Approving a yagya now requires the devotee's ID to have been checked — the same rule that already applied to handing over a Ram Naam book. The Approve button tells you before you tap it, and says why. Requesting stays open to everyone, and you can still reject a request either way.

When a queue cannot load, it says so and lets you pull down to try again, instead of showing an empty list that looks like there is no work waiting.

The Events editor now has its own card on the dashboard rather than being the last row inside Settings.

• Feed — the temple's Instagram, inside the app. Photos and reels play right there in the feed.
• Events — albums from temple occasions: the Beginning of Ram Kripa, Gyanshvi's first birthday, and Guru Purnima.
• The Lohia family tree, under Profile → About. Pinch to zoom.
• Requesting a yagya now goes step by step — choose a date, add your sankalp, and you're done.

Improved
• Daily Darshan & Aarti now reads as a timeline, with the next moment of the day marked, so you can see what's coming without reading every line.
• Choose your language — English or Hindi — from Profile.
• Tap your QR code to enlarge it for the temple desk.
• A warmer, calmer look throughout, with smoother motion and photos that load faster.
• Havan now shows its full 8:00–9:00 AM window.

Fixed
• The buttons at the bottom of the yagya form could sit under the home indicator.
• On Android, the tab bar overlapped the system navigation buttons and screen headings could sit under the status bar clock.
• The home screen could stay stuck on loading placeholders.
• An aarti that was never set showed up as "12:00 AM".
• Your name sometimes went missing from the greeting.
