I’m in NYC, surrounded by ramen, and there isn’t a single blip on the map. Did I miss something? Is this app complete? Is it just for Japan? ### 2/5 — No Shikoku locations *2023-02-17* This app is great for mainland Japan. There’s a ton of ramen shops around where I live and I would love to share them! ### 4/5 — Great app, needs a bit of tweaking imo *2018-03-31* I downloaded this app after seeing the creator featured in one of the Facebook pages I am following. It has steadily improved and has covered ramen shops outside of Tokyo as well. I visited a ramen restaurant near Sagamino Station in Kanagawa called Hokkaido Ramen Denmaru and it isn’t there. I’m not surprised, since the creator did mention that this is a one-man project, if I remember correctly. Covering ALL the shops in Japan will take years and a lot of money. I guess he needs to add a link or button that will allow us to add restaurants not included in here and rate it ourselves. Make it like the Yelp for ramen, you know what I mean? However, please be aware and read the app description before downloading, this app is intended for foreigners who are living in Japan. If you’re in the States, Yelp is your best bet. ### 5/5 — Never disappointed *2026-02-27* Very happy with the information provided by this app. Honestly used it everyday on my recent trip to Japan, and was never disappointed by the ramen. Gets you to try places where little to no tourist go. Be sure to look up proper ramen etiquette, as some of these places are meant for you to eat and go. Not a place to hang out. It exposed me to numerous ramen shops that I had no idea about. The top ten lists are awesome and make it easy to find interesting shops to visit.
