The app is clunky at best with some interesting UX choices at least for IPhone. I deleted and went back to Apple Podcasts. ### 2/5 — Bad app, good content *2025-11-20, version 6.13.5* This gets 1 star for the app and 5 for the content. The developers should be fired. The shows are listed in order but they play backwards. If you finish yesterday’s show, it doesn’t go to today’s. Instead it goes the day before. Also, it doesn’t remember which show you are listening to. You have to go find it each time you get back in the car. ### 3/5 — Ok *2025-10-28, version 6.13.5* You should really add in being able to comment on videos within the app rather than having to go to YouTube and do it. ### 4/5 — Good, a few hangups, but it’s FREE *2025-09-29, version 6.13.4* Great app, downloading was a bit unintuitive to figure out, but works just fine. Another thing I would love is the ability to download video episodes and audiobooks! That would be awesome. ### 3/5 — No option for mark as played *2025-08-29, version 6.13.4* I’ve been listening to the Ramsey Show for about six months now and really enjoy the concepts they share. I downloaded the Ramsey app because they always recommend listening there, but I find it frustrating to use. Every time I open it, I see episodes I’ve already listened to, and there’s no way to mark them as played or remove them from the recommendations. I end up having to scroll through and play the beginnings just to figure out if I’ve heard them before. Honestly, it’s much easier to listen on the Apple Podcasts app. ### 2/5 — Audio episodes aren’t showing up *2025-07-21, version 6.13.3* Best I can do is give an example. It’s July 21st as I write this and the VIDEO episodes are up for the 21st , 18th, 17th, and 15th. But the latest AUDIO episode that’s up is the 14th. Why? Also, the “calls picked for you” should be the bottom section of the app. ### 4/5 — Content is great, but app hangs up often *2025-07-17, version 6.13.3* The app hangs up frequently. I cannot get the podcast started without killing the app and restarting it. It happens often enough to be frustrating. It also seems that several standard podcast features are missing. It starts to replay podcasts that have been watched. You have to restart the app to see new podcasts. The audio only versions often lag behind for several days. ### 2/5 — Glitches often, spotty functionality *2025-07-17, version 6.13.3* The content is great but the app itself is not. Episodes don't update, functionality is glitchy, it's very inconsistent. This app is the lowest quality Ramsey offering. ### 3/5 — Too many redirects *2025-07-07, version 6.13.3* A month or two ago- something “updated” and I can’t get this app to open. I keep getting the message that there were too many redirects. Even after changing what search engine opens the app- still no change. ### 2/5 — App no longer working *2025-06-22, version 6.13.3* I was using the app for about a week without any issue and then all of a sudden the app stopped working. I’ve deleted the app and reloaded. Nothing works. I can select an episode but nothing actually plays. ### 2/5 — Can’t reset password *2025-06-02, version 6.13.3* So far, 3 days later, all I’ve gotten is an automated response email……. And oh yeah a no reply email from apple, saying I’ve gotten a reply and asking if I want to update my posting, so yeah, here I am. The update …. An automated response but no help So. App is telling me I already have an account , so did the reset password I got the email with the link but when the link opens I can’t type or paste anything into the new password fields. The email is “no reply” and the “app support” in the Apple Store won’t open … help ? ### 3/5 — Just Release the Whole Episode Online *2025-05-30, version 6.13.3* This app is perpetually unfinished. They finally fixed the issue where episodes randomly stop playing but then another bug pops up. Now, it doesn’t remember where I left off in the episode I was listening to. I’ll be 80% through and when I go back to finish, it starts from the beginning. It’s too frustrating. I’m going back to my podcast app and will just miss the third hour. ### 3/5 — Don't Like App *2025-03-22, version 6.13.0* Ramsey has been widely available for a long time. I've purchased a significant amount of products and services from them. Now they want to track and harass me too. Standard podcast apps that have the features users want are superior for consuming content than the poorly designed content specific apps. This one doesn't have functionality I use and forces me to listen their way. No thanks. ### 2/5 — Deleted *2025-03-20, version 6.13.0* Great information, great team. I had to delete the app, they kept removing the audio episodes. Show notes broken *2026-01-31, version 6.13.7* I swear they don’t test this App that DR pushes us to use. And, he talks about his AMAZING staff and again, the show notes don’t work. I’d think the amazing staff would test on an iPhone, or maybe use it to listen to the show? They sure don’t read the show notes! BUT, I NEVER LOGGED OUT! Not convenient for drivers & completely unnecessary to request 2 times a mos. The system never likes my PW, so I must make a complicated one, therefore I never remember from 2 wks ago when I last changed it & need to make a new PW. I have finally given up & will listen to other podcasts within their app & when time Ramsey on Spotify. ### 1/5 — Good content, app struggles to deliver *2025-10-20, version 6.13.4* App is stuck on the sign in screen. Deleted and reinstalled, same issue. Password and account are correct. When the app does load, it crashes a lot and does not continuously play. Old Review: The shows are all here, except the show notes almost always list the wrong dates & hosts. Also, Jade Warshaw hosts almost every show since 2024. It stopped even posting the most recent shows never mind the show notes being all wrong. One critique, the old episodes ain’t there ### 5/5 — APP DEVELOPERS: PLEASE READ FOR HELPFUL FEEDBACK! *2025-10-30, version 6.13.5* As far as the content offered on the Ramsey app, it is absolute gold. I don’t know of any other app or resource that can give you solid advice and guidance on your money, your relationships, your work, your business and so on. I wish I’d had something like this when I was in my teens to help build a solid foundation and a framework for how I needed to live my live. There are a few things I would like to see happen with the app though, that I think most folks would appreciate. 1- thumbnails on the videos would be a good addition 2- in the titles of front row seat and other shows where there is a guest, I feel there needs to be a clear indication of who the guest is, so it is easily seen, rather than the episode name/summery. 3- when listening to shows on this app, and you get any type of notification, the show needs to pause, while Siri is reading the notification to you, then start back up. Cause you can’t hear the show in the background with Siri talking. 4- there should be a “last playing” feature so that when I close the app and reopen it, I can start back up where I left off at. As of now, my apps “last playing bar” at the bottom of the screen, has been stuck on an episode of “borrowed future” the entire time I’ve had the app. 5- since I listen to the show while I mow my lawn and while I do other tasks on the farm, I have noticed that it seems like Spatial Audio is always active, thus wherever my phone is in relation to me, is where more of the audio “comes from”, in my AirPods. If it were a setting, or changed to strictly stereo where the sound is equalized in both sides, it would serve me personally, better. Overall, Dave and the gang knocked this one out of the park, and I thoroughly enjoy and believe that this app has the ability to change the lives of many people, bring hope to the hopeless, an courage to the folks who are stuck in a tough place.
